Does any one else think its not the purpose of the government to say what we can and cannot know, use and look at? Although I doubt the government will ever stop trying to do this, from trying to ban certain books to trying to ban how we use the internet. We just need to keep voicing our opinion and telling them we don't agree with this.

I agree that a lot of companies as they grow tend to follow this path. From bare bones start up on the cutting edge to a floating piece of bloat.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to avoid this, while at the same time continuing to grow?

I agree that is was a stupid thing for the manager to do, but I don't think it's worthy of a 100k lawsuit. At most Wal-Mart should just issue an apology and give the guy a PS3.
Looks like the battle for the next gen console is finally underway.
Personally I'm voting for the Wii, but the 360 and PS3 both have amazing graphics!

I'm glad AMD is still in the race for two reasons. One they make good processors, and two having strong competition in this market just pushes both AMD and Intel to keep innovating and raising the bar.

Even if it causes more force the point is it doesn't penetrate the armor and therefore does not penetrate the wearers flesh.
No one said getting hit by a bullet even with armor, feels nice.
Hopefully this will get thrown out the same way the lexmark case did.

Even though firefox is said now not to be more secure and things of that nature because it is open source it has and will become better faster.
I use my flash drive to carry around a copy of portable firefox with me where ever I go so I always have my prefrences, extensions and bookmarks. I wouldn't give it up for the world. This is only possible because they have made it open source. =)

I actually ordered a nano a couple of days ago but decide to cancel to wait this out. See if apple makes any more changes to the nano to improve its durability.

While this is intersting it will have very little use since not that many people have blue tooth head sets. Plus, you will only get a few seconds before the car has driven past you.

Although if you are just browsing the net with your wifi, i don't see how having such a fast connection will help you since your dsl or cable connection will be much slower.
My main concern with the mouse is that it seems like it provides no tactile feedback when you click. This may be very annoying. I'd want to try one of them out before deciding if I wanted to purchase it.

Even if java isn't open source there are so many different flavors of it. It's been changed so much to allow it to fit anywhere, phones, idcards, computers. I think they already have a split java language!

Yes I do know that, and that the graphics can change. Don't get me wrong I thnk the keyboard is VERY cool, but I'm not going to pay that much money for a a cool keyboard with a few extra buttons!
I'm curious what futire plans they have instore for this. Nintendo is always considered a great innovator so it stands to reason that they will come up with some intersting things to use this router for. At least I hope so, because who wants to us the ds to browse the net when you have to be near a computer anyway just to access the wifi signal =p
