Well Flickr is owned by Yahoo!, so don't forget to boycott them too. This is basically a story of yet another search engine company censoring content...
1. Force browsers in relevant countries to pop up a message "Would you like to accept a cookie from www.[...]?" for every website they visit (and every cookie).

Federal Bureau of Investigation is lamenting the difficulty in executing wiretaps because of "web-based e-mail, social-networking and peer-to-peer services."
Actually, I know of at least one company, IP Fabrics, that creates devices to sell to the FBI/CIA for wiretapping and extracting content from popular sites.
From their website:
Our latest products are the industry's only intelligent network surveillance systems for 1Gbps and 10Gbps networks. Designed for use in distributed data retention and lawful intercept solutions under the control of separate mediation systems, they are ideal for monitoring large and complex networks and offer advanced features such as the ability to generate IPDRs and intercept targets using Webmail/Email, chat/IM, VoIP, and IP address/subnet.
This could be cool if you had a clay model of a landscape and were to simulated floods, tsunamis, etc. You could quickly mold new landscape modifications to try out. Or with a detailed enough sensor you might be able to simulate a wind tunnel (ie this pic of the Tesla Model S - http://bit.ly/Tesla_Model_S) - of course the model could only be reduced in one direction, with a single sensor (the typical drawback of a topographical map).
I've considered this type of system before. The idea came up when we had a "move day" at work.
Let's say there were 4 movie options. If a majority of people like option A, B and C, and absolutely hate option D, but are indifferent regarding which of A, B, or C are chosen, the votes will be spread out. So movie A, B or C would be watched, right? Not if a group of people wants to see D and that group of people is larger than either A, B, or C by them self.
Thus, movie D wins, even though a majority of the people explicitly do NOT want to watch it.
In the new system, people would rate each movie in order of preference. In this case, A, B, or C would be watched, but not D.
and if we continue abstracting the cause to the politicians and/or government in general, then nobody will be held accountable, resulting in the continuation of the status quo.
I didn't put rollover images on my site! My websites are to only be read in raw text or binary! Sue the browser makers for allowing this rollover-rendering to occur, or the users for distributing this process of downloading rollover-image viewers!
Someone should tell those xkcd guys to take a bit more care before posting their cartoons - they seem to keep missing out the final frame which is the one that would normally contain the final punchline thus causing the reader to find it funny.
Look in the mouse-over text. Do you often wonder why front page articles in newspapers seem to end abruptly mid-sentence, with some random text saying "continued on page A6"?
or B) wait till they detect signals coming in (which would presumably be easier for them than it is for us)
Ah, but if we waited until they received a signal, it could take x light years for them to reach us, or for us to receive a response. If, however, we receive their signal, which describes how to teleport to their location, it would be MUCH faster. Alternatively, we could just be sure to include our relative location while trying to contact them, but if we are just starting now, it could take a LONG time to reach them.
Don't like someone badmouthing the government? Require them to register. Then when they (obviously) don't do it, stick 'em in jail and take their money.
Enjoy your democracy, guys.
And if they do register, stick 'em in jail and take their money.
I wonder when the indoor model is being released: http://movieclips.com/Vpwa-minority-report-movie-spider-robots/
Although I turned it off after 13.

It looks like Facebook's backup feature does not back up photos you were tagged in - only things that you personally uploaded.

I'm confused. Didn't Livestation already exist? What is DailyMotion bringing to the picture?
Indeed! Apple is not a fruit anymore, it's a RELIGION! :p
I believe something is called a cult before it becomes a religion -- not a fruit.

Obviously biased with the results page containing "Click on this link for ideas about how to increase your empathy"!
