Man these arial photos are old. My house was built 5 years ago, the naighborhood has been here longer, and the arial photo shows a field where my neighborhood is. They really need to get updated photos.
The only type of dual function portable game device I would by is maby a Pocket PC/XBox portable. That would be cool, since I cary a Pocket PC seperate from my cell phone anyway.
Good site. But, in my opinion, the rating on Turok 3 needs to be increased. Any game with a weapon like the cerebrial bore, with the power to lock on and shoot bores into someones head causing it to explode, deserves at least an 8.5.
ArenaNet does plan to offer expansion packs to the game that you will have to buy. Althogh, they will, and already do, have limited updates for free.

Continued Bug Patching (yes, that should be taken care of beforehand, but when you recognize the size of an MMO world...)
This is the same for any online video game ever created. Why should MMOs get to charge for it?
As far as bandwidth goes...fine. But $12-$20 a month? Come on.
I love Guild Wars. After playing Everquest, WoW and so many other MMORPGs and having to pay everymonth for the right to play the game I bought in the first place, I was thrilled when GW came out.
I just don't understand how they can think that they have this *NEW* idea. I play my FPSs online for free and have been for a very long time. I don't understand why the MMORPGs have been different.
Oh that's right I, and many others, have been paying monthly fees so why wouldn't they charge.:(
But I've always wondered, what is it about this particular company that makes them special - the characters, the art, the gameplay, the designers?
All of the above. Capcom is just a great company all around. I think if I had to pick one thing that makes them stand out, though, it would be gameplay.
I think what many of the most recent games have tought us is that you can have the best graphics and the best story but if the game isn't fun and replayable It's not worth the money.
I love this Crucial Classics series. It actually made me get out my old NES. Bionic Cammando was one of my favorite titles. I don't think I ever actually beat it though. Time to get it of E-Bay.
This is the first logical rebutal I've had to this line of thinking. Unfortunately I do use very highly specialized software, most of which I wrote myself, so this won't work for me. But it is true for others who can find replacements.
That being said, I still hold to my second line of reasoning. If we all started using Macs the spyware companies would just target OS X and there would be more spyware on OS X.
Also, I would like to point out that I now have a Mac, along with all my Windows PCs and Linux PC. I think that all OS's have their pros and cons. Windows I like for daily use and compatibility with the majority of the world, Linux makes a great fast, secure server, and Mac is great for Graphics. So when I say I prefere Windows in most cases it is an educated dicision. And, I do think more Windows users need to try out other systems.
This is all true. However, the viruses and spyware are writen to take advantage of the security holes you mentioned because they are targeting windows. They are targeting windows because they can then affect the majority of the users.
If the majority was using OS X they would find holes in OS X. Every operating system has security holes. The only way to have no security holes on your system is to disconect from the internet(and all networks for that matter), remove any peripherals, and remove all drives (except the hard drive). No OS is perfect and the spyware/virus companies are going to take advantage of every imperfection in whatever OS is the most common.
I'm with you on the fact that throwing out a computer because you have some spyware is utter crap.
However, the whole dump windows and switch to OS X is absurd to most, me included.
Two reasons:
First, being I can't run most of the software I use on anything but windows.
Second, if we all took your advice it would take maby a month or two for the spyware creators to catch on and start consentrating on OS X machines. Thus, we would all switch back to windows, or another operating system and the spyware writers would switch with us, and the cycle continues.
People keep forgetting that the reason that Windows is affected by so much spyware is because it is on over 90% of the personal computers on the market.
As a linguist I can personaly atest to the usefullness of this keyboard. I've used everything from stick on labels to seperate keyboards. There is a huge market out there for this KB, especialy if you can use the left function keys as language selectors.
I'm not ashamed to admit that you lost me. What are you talking about?

Yes and after the problem is fixed we'd all be out of a job again. That would be great.
How long ago was this article writen? US cars were better about 30 years ago. Maybe that's what he was refering to.

I guess it's just nostalgia.

If you want paintball to be less whimpy, as you put it, try puting the balls in the freezer before you play. We did that once, never again.

Isn't "configurable" exactly what this Keyboard is about?
