IF we keep burning metals won't we run into the same problem as we id with oil? I think bio matter is the way to go.. but then we'll dry up the earth. Oh, bother.
Yes, this is a perfect example against those who would say, "DRM isn't a problem unless you're a pirate." I'm sure there were people who paid good money to buy audio tracks. Not rent, *buy*. Their whole problem is the fear that the music lasts "forever" in cyberspace. It doesn't. Just like CDs and tapes things are damaged and destroyed, especially by newbies who don't know when their sole hard drive is going to call it quits. There's the returning customers they were so worried about. They could even sell them insurance and then screw them over!
Of course there are "superhackers"... Would you tell anyone if you found a new Windows hole? I bet there are some that very few people know about that can be used to infiltrate any Windows computer...
I just went out and spent $250 (CDN) on the Windows XP Professional CD. I looked at Vista and wanted it, if only to be "ahead of the curve", but was afraid of compatibility issues - the XP upgrade promised to work flawlessly and I would not have to reinstall my applications. Well upgrading failed (no doubt due to the 6 yrs of crap I had un/installed) and after much mucking around with the install process,.sys files, service disabling, and downloadable boot disks moved my entire former drive into a subfolder and did a clean install. I restored my application data and away I went - no more crap!
I was awake for 32 hours that day (my work couldn't stay down for long). Later I realized my whole reason for upgrading (reported IE7 javascript error) was due to a simple typo... So I could have used Win 2000 until what, 2010 was it? Oh well, XP is nice too. Win2k doesn't have things like MSN Live (with multiple account memory), etc. My friend even claims MSN audio connections are better (Another M$ trick?). I'll get Vista in 7 years when support for XP pro expires or, I suppose, when I buy a new computer.
Basically you just pad the document you want to match with spaces or baseX strings until the md5 matches the one you want to replace. Maybe I should RTFA...:)
If there is not the fear of being "killed" or "busted" then there is no rush. I agree violence can be more or less explicit, based upon the amount of graphic material, blood & guts, etc. but what we do we see on TV, in movies and in real life? How can we censor games when we don't censor the porno shop in the middle of town, suggestive late-night TV "phone sex line" ads or put all explicit magazines on lockdown? UFC, "50 best beat downs", "Top killing machines" etc. are shown on TV all the time. There are pictures of mass graves in our high-school text books. Games are just (generally) light-hearted, good-spirited fantasy and sport based on real life.
Minimize display by having what you're writing quickly "flash" on screen (full screen?) to prevent timed screenshots, hook the keyboard to thwart keyloggers... It's just a matter of time/necessity.
Dude, it's not his company... even if it were, you're still an ass. Are we still making fun of AOL these days?

Bill?
What about a flash-based CAPTCHA? "Just drop the ball in the hole to post your comment!". Would that be hackable?!!
Many email marketers like to personalize their mailings, so they do it the inefficient way all the time.
This could be solved if they used one giant parachute to help the entire plane float to the ground...

User runs program that is installed... how is this news at all?

You'll know it when dotslash.org starts posting about human-nets...

They're going backwards... shorter is better!
I want a neural power squid.

Why not just throw it in with the hundreds of receipts you already save for income tax?
I was going to question specifying the size of a grain of salt until I did my research. Turns out I'm NOT a grammatical genius.

Maybe it's entrapment by MS
1) Put up a picture of your favourite celebrity
2) Face toward a (non-attractive) woman in your league
3) Turn the transparency down until she's cute
It's cheaper than beer!
Oops, I downloaded it twice!
