Deliberately editing the submission to exaggerate a number by that much is messed up. I can see increasing 95k to 100k for the sake of simplicity, but seriously, 70k to 100k?
The App Store is a public marketplace. You don't see people complaining they can't buy the latest pr0n titles at your local BB or Radio Shack.
What they do complain about is when they can't buy pr0n titles anywhere in the country because the guy selling computers at Best Buy says he doesn't want them to exist.
If you think we should give them the power to individually switch access, but not the whole internet, we've run into a serious problem. Individual targeting is much easier and more likely to be abused.
"Its reasoning in making that call has never been clear, since there seemed little point in spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a trial which could produce no more than a judgment for $54,000 or less."
Using it a bit is much better than not using it at all. I can get the gist of an OS by using it for a minute; you can't do that by looking at a picture.
Unfortunately, we're talking about babies that are already being aborted, or already being miscarried, not ones aborted for the purpose of becoming stem cells.
At the point where you know for certain that the baby isn't going to live out in the world, it truly is the ethical decision to allow their death to impact the world around them for the better since they never got the chance in life.
They're suing Limewire in this case, not the people who downloaded and uploaded. Limewire facilitated the transactions for every single person, not just one person.
I have never in my life uploaded a song to 150,000 people. My radio on demonoid hovers around 3.0, so the most they can *logically* claim against me is that I illegally made 3 copies of their the song. So $1 times 3 times however many songs they can prove I infringed (say 20) == $60 fine plus the record company's associated court costs.
That would be logical. But Congress forgot to include logic when they passed the Digital Millennium Copyright Tyranny. (Probably didn't read it either.)
Each of the 3 people you uploaded to upload to another 3, who each upload to another 3......
I think he means they're not municipal-level franchises.

So, are you saying Genghis Khan was a Muslim?
Yeah, good luck finding a safe way to hold nuclear material in a car's form factor. Those nuclear plants have walls thicker than a car's length.

Just wait until either congress is in bed with the president, or he surrounds the capital with army troops.

People like to say "smaller government - but don't dare take away MY benefits!".

No, that's dumb as hell. They're already forced for a judgment of less than or equal to $54,000. They cannot get it raised at this point.
No, because they let most of the anchors give editorials and ask biased questions.
"Ok, so we're going to let everyone be blind to the consequences of the decisions made in this country, and just hope it improves on its own"

Corporations are our enemy, therefore it is treason.

X number of crimes per Y population in Z area = crime rate
Robocop is still partly human. Particularly, most of the brain.
The problems always started when they tried making something that was just a machine.
Holy shit, the parents are responsible?!?!?!
No way man!

That's only true if the system is used by travelers and not travel agents to allow for the bookings.
Only 1 out of the 1000 amateurs is willing to play.
You used a broker who gave it to another person. That broker is liable for giving the gun illegally to everyone who killed someone.
