Oh holy shit, millions of people didn't fly to South Africa to watch some soccer games and you guys had to buy tickets! All this, despite your government putting in a bid for the tournament and having to pay for the infrastructure to support it! The tragedy!
That's an interesting theory. You'd suggest that since there's no obligation to the citizens of another country, that some other government would spy on you, and then your government would spy on their citizens, and then just trade information back and forth "as required, for national security matters"?
I wonder they'd have a cool acronym for the program.
It's also fairly blind to the fact that the UK is just as shitty about privacy as the US, just in slightly different ways.
9 times out of 10 when the public uses the word "theory" they really mean "hypothesis". Should that stop scientists from using the word "theory" correctly? Should that stop us from educating people about the real definition of the word "theory"? Should scientists have to change their language every time the public warps it beyond recognition?
Should we require that everyone use the definition of theory that's accepted within the scientific community? Should we stifle common language and only allow experts to create definitions?
Also, we're talking about a phrase where "beg" is substituted for "dodge" in the proper representation. I know when I "beg" for something, I'm sure as hell not trying to "avoid" it, but I actively am seeking it.
That attitude is part of the problem not the solution. Some people in this country feel that science and faith can not coexist. That kind of thinking will drag us back into the middle ages where science was no different than witchcraft unless use to create a weapon to defeat the enemy.
You speak like the modern age has had a fundamentally different attitude towards science.
No, it isn't. You, just like the cyber-criminals, can compare 50 million to ~850 million, and go "let's go for the bigger target since only a small percentage will actually fall for our scheme anyway".
The free market entails regulations and not an actual free market or else the whole system is over run by one monopoly, jackass. This kind of trading just makes that happen faster.
Interestingly enough, Jordan has a system where they are a monarchy and have representation both via appointment (their Senate is appointed by the king) and via election (their House of Representatives).
So barring the definitional requirement of "head of state not being a monarch", they do have the other defining characteristics of a republic.
Anyone writing an app that takes more than 1 person two weeks to create, like those real, groundbreaking apps that aren't rehashes of another app that's already been done, aren't going to waste their time with a company as inconsistent as Apple when they have other platforms to develop for.
It wasn't reconfigured or reprogrammed to change the function of the script on AT&T's website. The system was doing exactly what it was intended to do, give the iPad information as a number was given to the script. It gave the information to the wrong people, because the script was public, but that doesn't qualify. These guys didn't change anything on AT&T's side, just utilized tools that were already there.
Israel is a bit older than that.
I mean, they talk about it in the old testament, a 3000+ year old set of books.
More likely to be on the splash screen for the app, but the idea is there...

Neutralization of Glenn Beck: The only noble use for the Vuvuzela.
It's a 120+ db sound. It can easily cause hearing loss in people in the stadium.
It's a tradition America started in 2010, duh!
Nine more years, and we can call it as much a tradition as these damned beehive instruments.
No, let them keep doing it like retards.
Then let the networks filter the feed if they wish.
No, coding contests.

bad mod...

Faith works much better

Does the right to bear arms cover arms which are for more awesome than ever conceived of by the writers of the constitution?
I'd suggest you not have bare arms if this thing can set flesh on fire.
I imagine it can also set clothes on fire, which begs the question:
Should you let them set your skin on fire, or let them set the clothes just on top of your skin on fire?

Good thing OSX has 99% of all consumer software written for it.
What the hell is with that headline?

Guess what?

Especially when there's reason to believe that Android is beginning to exceed the iPhone.

Man, it's so shitty that Adobe targets their actual audience and doesn't give a shit about people who don't want to use their product. Bummer.
It was designed to give developers the choice as to whether a user can uninstall from Firefox.
Best. Mail. Job. Ever.
Any place called "prohibited area" in Australia must be a horrible, horrible place to live.
Uncle Sam.
