  1. The actual news is that... on iPod May Become Next Fair-Use Battleground · · Score: 0

There are people capable of getting something preloaded with somebody else music taste and preferences. From this I can draw three possible explanations:

    a) The guys selling the Ipods are marketing geniuses and know exactly what the market wants, or

    b) Apple has created a herd of zombies who would care less about the content as far the thingy is in their ears, or

    c) I have woke up into a brane where individuality comes from uniformity.

I have been working with PCs for 17 years and I have never had to deal with a virus. The argument that people move to Macs because is a virus-free environment just proves the fact that those switching are lazy, incompetent and conformist, a sad blend of handicapped common sense, self-loathing and kinked vision of what having a computer means. The survival of the fittest starts by taming the environment, no self-rejection from it.

That's the key, "premium brand". Quality, usability, comfort, and everything else that makes a product efficient and practical is just irrelevant to those buying Mactoys, driven by consumisms, and the urgend need to be seen and accepted. What's left when something bought by the looks, looks like shit? Sue! Now, when are you going to learn to be be a good consumist? If you get the ipod, you must get the ipod active-pouch, ipode night-carrier, ipod anti-scratch screen cover, the anti-scratch cleaner, the ipod insurance, the ipod 50 years total replacement plan and for limited-time only: 50% off the download for vIpod of Steve Jobs laughing all the way to the bank.

Not just gays, lazy, dumb gays. All that design shit they fancy can be done with a 45% cheaper computer that doesn't look like a microwave oven. The crassness of this comments is just to bring more flame into the discussion and make my point of how interesting human reason is. We are talking about one of the most intelligent humans in history and we managed to bring the discussion about his work into subway-sewer levels.

  13. Copycat of Firefox also in memory footprint? on IE7 Bugs and Reviews · · Score: 2, Informative

IE7 looking like firefox is the least of my concerns, just confirms the trend toward what internet browsing is going. One thing not discussed though is the memory use. No matter what I am doing in IE, the memory usage will always be smaller than Firefox by at least 50%. (Three tabs in Firefox = 43,264 K / IE6 3 windows opened 23,076 K) As a control freak checking my task manager every 62 minutes, 50% more memory used for browsing is a catastrophic incident that is corroding my affiliation to Firefox.
