I know of a company that hires 1 legit green card carrying Mexican and pays him for the work the others do.
He is payed in cash (taxed too) and then distrubutes out the money to the illegal aliens. Therefore the company never hired any illegal aliens. They just have a spanish speaking worker making $200/hour....
Yes but being illegal if its leaked doesn't stop you from downloading Microsoft Office or Windows off your favorite P2P network / torrent site / usenet....
However this does bring up a more legite question: "Will Apple have to do the same?" or since darwin is already open source does it matter?
I;m currenty building my linux based media server. I'm buying a old xbox, throwing Xbox Media Center on it and running one of the many linux based content servers to feed the xbox media over the network. It can even play direct isos and it uses the remote to browse whats on your server.
I just purchased a 8 port raid 5 sata card so I am going to eventually hit 2 terabytes with it.
They can include support for Legacy BIOS in EFI. If apple includes this option (or if there is a way to flash your bios with legacy bios support) then you WILL be able to boot windows on new mac hardware.
However 64 bit windows and Longhorn both do / will support EFI so that is always a option (although the current intel chips in the macs are 32bit I believe).
I agree completly. Itunes is completly free. All Apple is trying to do is generate more itunes music store purchases by making the choices more relevant to what your currently listening to.
Google has done the same thing with adsense by taking what your searching for and displaying adds relevant to what your looking for.
This will blow over real soon as its not a big deal. If you really care about it, I would suggest disabling the feature or using a product from a company / group that is not trying to make a profit (ie open source).
And its the romance which is why I don't think I will ever see 35mm completly disapear in my lifetime (and I'm only 22).
Sure digital will eventually totaly catch up quality wise with film (that won't start until 35mm ccd's come down in price... just a matter of time), but it will turn into a niche market for people who will never give it up.
With that said, as of right now Consumer Pro Digital is not the same quality as Consumer Pro 35mm (I use a Nikon 90s for instance). When Consumer Pro level Digital SLR's come into the sub $1000 price range that are equivalent to 35 mm (I feel the ones out today, while good, aren't there yet), it will be a different story. Like I said above , its just a matter of time....
It depends on what your shooting. 35mm was the top dog in Sports/wildlife where you needed a quick snapping picture coupled with a decent telephoto lens.
Sure Medium and Large formats have no comparison to the studio or still photography, but when you start shooting things that move 35mm was way better in any aspect.
However a good friend of mine who is a sports photographer for the AP hailed the switch to digital as it meant he didnt have to bring his portable studio with him to the games.
I think your missing the point (or I'm reading to much into it). China is denying citizens access to information that it can't censor itself.
Sure a student could go read a regular encyclopedia, but what good is it if the goverment took all the "good" information out of it before he had a chance to read it?
Knowing the (US) goverment I bet this guy will be somehow charged for online criminal activites ....
I think its neat they include blog post about the various companys.
Sounds like a direct attack on Wikipedia.
How many more "hidden" amendments are out there? I bet the general public would be scared to find out.
Its amazing how little time it took them to make the first model.
This just adds ammo to ISP's push for tiered internet. Scarry ....
Just like South Korea? Will we have our own 24/7 dedicated gaming channels?
....
If we are trying to be like South Korea, I would rather have in home fiber to more homes then just what verizon offers in the NE
Heh take any normaly design psu and take the fan out of it. You will quickly see it over heat and then begin to burn ....

Bets on when it will be leaked?
Maybe they will make him take some english classes. Or was I the only one to read and laugh at the quotes in the pdf file?
Well I'm going to lose some sleep tonight over this :-(
It works for me and I use firefox ;-)

While there were initial problems migrating to Windows, 100% of Hotmail now runs on Windows.
:-p
No wonder hotmail sucks. Then again I am a diehard gmail fan

I still will use and love itunes!

Google hackintosh. Yes you can run OSX on intel hardware already ... just dont expect apple to offer you updates.
You would assume it could run any x86 operating system as people have been running OSX on windows (intel) box's for the past few weeks.
So much for the bogus 42" and 50" media center plasmas.
... I'm throwing OSX on my intel box!
;-)
Those laptops do look sweet though. Screw windows/linux now
ps I know X is based on free bsd
