Actually- Persons that really attempt to study the Bible will find that it it harmonious and accurate with science ( except for evolution) , and history. It has practical wisdom, IT has fulfilled prophecy. It has candour. (There is) No other book written over a 1600 year period that is harmonious with itself. I highly disagree. It IS an historical account. In context, the creative days are unknown time periods. The time period from Adams creation can be calculated to our day to the year. As in this (2009) is the 6034th year since Adams creation.
However, The part about "God gives the world to mankind to capitalize on", God does give it to man to use, "fill the earth and subdue it" as it were. Not meant to "capitalize" but make it a garden, a Paradise. The first account was the purpose for the author of the Bible, for man to live forever on earth. The bible use of "DAY" for creative process can mean thousands of years. Ezekiel 4:6 shows one translation of day as a year "A day for a year, a day for a year, is what I have given you". Even in our time we say things such as "back in my dads day". - That thought can represent 60-90 years or so.
What about Bestbuy? You make your purchase you get your receipt, and the return policy is on the back of the receipt. No where were you told officially before the sale that this is "our return policy". And the fact that they use those electronic signature pads - you dont get to read anything prior to putting your sig on it

I maintain a network for a Transit Authority and use several tools that actually look for new devices on the network, duplicate IP and MAC addresses and so forth. If it trully probes for a way out to "phone home" so to speak, I got him. Now passive listening -- different story.
