I am not sure what you mean by decent amount of text. If you meant, dos prompt you don't need a 24" monitor either. They demoed the thing on a 80" touchscreen. Engadget has photo of it. Also in the consumer preview they have added more keyboard shortcuts. According to some who has tested the consumer preview, Windows 8 has more keyboard shortcuts than previous versions of Windows. From what I see, they removed the start menu and made a huge set of tiles that launches the application.

Android's success has resulted in a 'hostile, organized campaign against Android by Microsoft, Oracle, Apple and other companies, waged through bogus patents.'"

Patents are granted to these companies. When did it become bogus? If Google thinks this is bogus. They need to fight and get the patents invalidated. It is not as if Google is a small company and cannot fight. Google may have purposefully violated patents from other companies and hence they do not protect the OEMs who are implementing Android. If Google thinks these are bogus then fight and make sure these patents are invalidated.

Where as those BB users are the corporate types, for them without Viagra or the things of that nature nothing happens down there and you know in this cost cutting and firing of CEOs on suped up expense report days, it is not possible for them to afford. So they have lesser sex than iPhone users
Majority of Android users are Geeks, they have all the theoritical knowledge but practically they dont have a clue about how to masturbate let alone do anything with the opposite Gender. Atleast we should be happy that some Android users are getting something.

I think MS just thinks people wants to use the same application that they use on PC on Slate or tablet devices. It may not be the case.
I think Apple caught MS with its pants down like it is said on this ZDNet blog .
MS just handed over a big chuck of their market share to Apple. It started with iPhone, now iPad and next people will think about buying Mac instead of PC. Seriously, MS needs to wake up and do a major make over if it needs to start selling to masses instead of just enterprises.
