    1. It does not expose the bindings to Windows platform
    2. Instead of COM based diagnostic APIs, there provide a different set for Open source one.

    because it is already well trenched. Abandoning now will create problems to already existing applications that depends on JavaScript. Also some of the JavaScript frameworks has made maintaining the code much easier.

    I am not trolling, I do not understand the target market for this costly laptop.
    1. Developers would rather have lots of RAM and disk space, they can have those systems with better CPU for far less than what this thing costs
    2. Obviously not for gamers, the system does not have powerful GPU
    3. Regular users now are moving away from laptop.
    MS had to write off on Surface inventory recently as well. What does MS achieve from this Surface book and Surface Pro when it is not making profit?

    That Surface book looks nice (obviously time will tell how it will perform). It looks to corner the high end laptop market.

(Usually the pretense of NOT sending kids to public school is security, here Duncan goes on to say they are doing it to keep it simple.) May be their kids are beyond these policies. Like erstwhile Soviet Union, all are equal but some are more equal.

    I dont think you have ever used Android on Tablets. Even the Google apps are nothing but blown-up phone apps.

    It would have been much better going Chrome instead of Android. Blown-up phone apps are horrendous on Android tablets. Why would a keyboard cost so much? With all these new keyboard, pen attachments with Tablets, I think MS was on right track on Surface (not the pro). But was executed as usual badly.

    He might have been a disaster as a manager. Now they want to replace him.

    For me, everything is developed in-house, does not care if project is delayed, manger encourages rewrite of the entire project when a newer version of the tool is released and lastly but not least they pay developers boat load of money and do not have to work more than 8 hours and don't have to support if it fails in the production.

    I have installed the consumer preview. I cannot stand the Metro interface with Mouse and Keyboard. My colleague has it on a tablet and it seems to work fine with fingers. This is similar to Vista when all the tech bloggers had bad reviews on it and still MS made billions on it. Same thing happens, by Windows 9, they will have users adopted to this UI or tweaked it like they did in Windows7.

    Keep it on all the time in all places. That way you don't have to fear free speech. On the paper Big brother can easily say, we have best free speech law in the world, but in reality we use this neat little gadget that make sure that no one else other big brother is speaking. How innovative?
