The universe doesn't have restrictions on what can or can't be in it (to our level of comprehension at least), so if the universe is infinite then there's an infinite number of things that can be anything - which would also mean there's an infinite number of things happening IN EXACTLY THE SAME WAY.
I think I just blew out my brain.
Along with an infinite number of other me's.
When I first saw the headline, I actually thought that they were going to edit it to make it better. I haven't seen it yet but I heard it was pretty bad.
I sure wouldn't want to find out which spots were hotter than others... touching an overheated chip that much would hurt! (Plus, if it gets too hot the CMOS should kill the machine anyway)
Actually, it seems like he's right (thought you're on point for the part about using a stock chip instead of a custom one and how it saves the cost of getting developers).
Other than that, he's just being an anti-Microsoft/Intel troll.
[It's] great to use open source software... but by refusing to use *any* software that is commercial, you aren't helping anyone. Certainly not developers.
P.S.: If people didn't think computers could make money, I'd bet nobody would have ever made them.
Hi, this is the meterman. I don't want you hitting on me. I'm perfectly comfortable banging tons of girls that not only love metermen, but are much more attractive than you could ever possibly be, you ugly skank.
Most people are aware that museums have nude art sections. I wouldn't oppose putting them behind a door or a curved wall or something, e.g. "hey, there's nude art back here, so if you don't want to see it don't go back here".
But they care (too much, perhaps) when a site, especially one they like (too much, perhaps) becomes unreliable and slow. Many people seem to actually need to go to Myspace constantly - within 30 minutes of people realizing my school district blocked Myspace, they came running to me asking me to get it to work again.
I'm not trashing anyone's ideals, if that means what I think it does. I believe every OS is good and bad in some way and that every OS has its day in the sun. At least I'm not pulling a Steve Ballmer on everything that isn't open source.
How about you post your opinion on the whole situation? Maybe then we can have an intelligent discussion like the mature people we are.
Finally. Someone who actually figured out that this guy is a great preacher, but mostly just a kook. I mean come on. It's just a computer. And as long as it just works, 9 out of 10 people don't care whether there's Windows, *nix, or a heroin-addicted albino squirrel under the hood.
And don't tell me I "just don't get it". I'm a computer geek. I run Windows, Linux, and occasionally OSx86 computers. And I still say that. Okay?
4 wheels, 4 powered wheels (e.g. 4WD or AWD). 4x2 = 4 wheels, 2 powered wheels (e.g. FWD or RWD)
And of course, spyware can read the sticky notes on your monitor.
How bout Exposé?

What about LAN wakeup?

Well no. They're not pirated by default, but you can turn on pirate mode by pressing and holding f10 for 10 seconds when the CD boots up.

iPods (3g at least) use NTFS.
Remember kids: being able to choose whether software you make is free or not is a freedom

Coral links are fine.
WheresMyMoneyBitch.com is an empty Index of / page.
He bought it after it was on its explosive growth spurt.
The general public doesn't care about good code

Why is Myspace so big? Why didn't a site with better code and features get the spot?
40 people died in the time it took me to log in and post this. More were born, probably. Think about it. Not big in the scheme of things.

Got released in April, but the CDs didn't come out until everything was polished? Maybe a 6.05 edition?
