Be your own artist, if you think you suck then lower your standards and remember you only have to please yourself and forget everyone else and their standards. Shazam, you are your own artist, might even be theraputic, and certainly gives you something to do. And you will never have to worry about the RIAA again.

The responsibility for the young is solely on the parent. And if the child is murdered then responsibility lies with both the murderer and parent equally. So maybe the parent should do some time in prison for not doing their job of watching and protecting the kid he/she chose to have in the first place and costing the rest of us grief in dealing with the incident and the problems afterwards.
The guy did his time. He should get his rights back, all of them. It's bad enough he'll be a man out of time anyway, but to be permanently sentenced to the gutter as a non-person, maybe better execute on first offense, that way the cost to society and life long torture for the criminal is eliminated. Why wouldn't they re-offend, they've got nothing to lose. With the current system, men/women should get out of prison and walk to the nearest mall and kill everyone until shot down by police. After all what choices have we given them. Second class citizens for life, permanent legal non-persons, ok slaves. What a country.
If their still fucked up, they should still be in prison. If not, they paid their price, reinstate their supposedly unalienable rights, send them on their way.

I'll tell you something. I grew up in central Nebraska(1980s). We had private stores then. Everything was outdated by several years from what was available on the coasts and cost more here after years than when it was first released anywhere new. The sales people often knew what they were talking about, usually to arrogance, but often only about what they sold which was limited. They were also more about what they preferred than what you wanted. As for repairs, the service often was "bailing wire" (cheap) type repairs, they often worked but the quality was lacking. Most of the employees and managers were nice and were genuine in trying to get you what you wanted but knowledge, sales, and experience of anything besides their local area was lacking. Being small did make them more responsive to a customers needs but the small sales floor, limited knowledge and experience, limited access to products definitely made for a weak experience. When BestBuy and Circuit city showed up I didn't even know so much up-to-date equipment existed and was available for so little. At first the sales people knew what they were talking about too, went down afterward though. Good-by to the small private retail stores and don't come back except for specialities which is a better niche for their limitations anyway. As for service, although BestBuy has done well by me on several occasions(2004-2006) but was obviously dropping off on the last visit, the big companies suck.

I worked at a small electronics shop for years (1990s-early 2000s) taking gripe from BB and CC customers for their cheap crap and shitty service never mind abuse from manufacturers for whom we seemed to be their unofficial complaint department. We did what we could and often went out of our way(manager and employees) to help customers but were often hogtied by the big chains and manufacturers who wouldn't do anything. The sick part is a lot of those big company sales (or whatever they're called) people/kids made more money and got better benefits than I did repairing their shit. By the way, big companies don't pay service shops shit for warranties, they dictate payoffs that nowhere cover time involved repairing the cheaply made, highly sensitive junk they push on people. I won't get into support for older equipment. Ok just a little, we had our own parts stock and did it ourselves, from film projectors, beta vcrs, laser disc players to old radios and intercom systems, and the regular stuff, up until the owner sold the place a couple of years ago (he was getting pretty gray) (shame too, the place was like family). I thought of buying it too but I now live too far away and the sustainable market for repair is about dead. Many of the ones still doing it are just breaking even and have income from other sources.

Golly gee, I can see this. I don't like someone and know they have an open wi-fi connection. I move a little porn??(it can be something else real easy once in law) on it using an anonymous address and call the police. Enemy harassed or bankrupted, either way, person gone. Save the time, potential deaths, social and mental abuse by just having the kids stay home and take their lessons. If they need to socialize let'em go to the mall or whatever on their own time instead of the public dime. They can do basically everything on the laptop then going anywhere is not needed and just a waste of money and effort.
And where do you get that idea? Read some history and get a clue or worse look at some current events in Russia. Accountability is just spin for low level harassment. That's except these companys aren't really private. They are publicly traded and get public support in the form of tax breaks, etc. So, since they are publicly supported (by taxes, etc) then shouldn't they be held to the same legal standards as the government. If they want to make anti-public decisions they shouldn't take tax breaks and should never have gone public. That way you can do whatever you want since truly still would be your company. So, where else does this guy have to go to get the word out?

You know I read this entire thread and nobody and I mean nobody mentioned how the 50 or so people standing around watching people getting tasered multiple times did nothing about it. How about standing up for principles, several of them should smart enough to have recognized this was wrong. The grab the cop and slam him up against the nearest wall asking what the hell he was doing. Get the victim to the hospital because by now he or she is a victim. Lock the cop in his own cuffs. Then march his ass to jail under public arrest for exceeding his authority if not for assault, terrorism, etc. If he's to lazy to do his job then he's little more than a publicly paid for thug and should be handled as such.

By the way, if the police station refuses to accept the cops arrest and you pressing charges, make sure your camera phones are recording the entire thing and sending it out to the internet, mainly national news and federal law enforcement. That way when the immediately upcoming war/atrocity begins everyone will know why. Also point out to the crowd and have the cops explain to the public they work for why this "officer" isn't being charged let alone fired. What use is a police force if they violate the law themselves? Remind them that their authority exists at the pleasure of the public not the other way around. Cops are not above the law and their authority is not inviolate as most people seem to think. If it's this bad be prepared to attack and take the local police force out first or they will do it to you, after all justice is meaningless if you're dead, legal or otherwise. This just reminds me why the general public should be carrying guns.
