    you sound a little confused. evolution (the observed fact and the Darwinian theory) says absolutely nothing about the beginning of life. this is just one of the FUD arguments by creationists - that because we don't understand everything about life there is some doubt and that doubt applies equally to all areas of research.

    I'm not going to start talking about "adaptation". creationists often try to change the language used to mislead people. they have phrases like "just a theory" to make "theory" sound like "idea" when in fact in science a "theory" is something that is well developed and supported by evidence.

    evolution is a fact. sorry if you don't like me saying that but it's simply true by the very best standards of human knowledge.

    evolution is a fact. you are wrong if you claim otherwise. Darwinian natural selection is a scientific theory that very successfully explains the fact of evolution, just like Einstein's general relativity very successfully explains the fact of gravitational attraction.

    "see" is a bit vague. but yes, the only things that exist are those that can be demonstrated (in practice or in principle).

    that's sort of the definition of "exist".

    if you cannot possibly demonstrate the existence of a soul or spirit to me, then in what way does it make any sense to talk of one?

    I didn't think he was smug at all, and he obviously wouldn't have been designed as smug. so it's really just in the hostile minds of the insecure but Apple still wants to sell to those people.

    it's like the way you always get people in ipod threads complaining that the ipod is cool and so people buying it is some sort of problem. I'm fairly certain the problem is with complainers' perceptions rather than Apple's products.

    no, the Wii is very different from all the other next-gen consoles in an important way: you can use your previous-gen peripherals and games. I'm going to get rid of my GameCube but keep Super Smash Bros., my 2 extra controllers and my memory card. all of these will be 100% compatible out of the box with no further purchase necessary. (unlike a certain rootkit-installing company who wants you to buy special converters to use PS2 memory cards on the PS3.)

    Opera's low-spec experience means they make efficient browsers, not PC-bloatware that use lots of resources just because they can. always a bonus for non-upgradable platforms.

    when I say you can back it up I mean you can copy the actual file as many times as you want, with no loss at all. some people with no experience of DRM think it means you have one and only one file and if it gets corrupted or you lose your ipod or you accidentally delete it then you've lost thousands of dollars for ever oh noes!!! it's not like that at all. the first thing you get after buying from iTMS is a reminder from Apple to back up your files.

    160kps AAC should be enough to replace your 256kps mp3. 256kps AAC will be better quality.

    I don't know why you would want FLAC or OGG when you can have Apple Lossless and AAC, unless you're a OSS-freak and philosophy is more important than quality or battery life, but it doesn't sound like it since you use mp3 anyway.

    no. I have accused you of being a liar, a troll and possibly the friend of an idiot, but not a thief. my media library is 1746 items, of which 168 are from the iTunes Music Store. the rest are from my CDs and music DVDs.

    futher to the above, I now accuse you of being a retard for making this statement. neither would I, or anyone. I have, however, bought from the iTMS 3 complete albums that are only available to buy from the iTMS, an album not easily available in my country, and many individual songs and music videos I like.

    I haven't said anything about anything in this topic, except that you are lying about iTunes and its features. if you need to lie to make your argument, or you're too stupid to understand the facts then you must have a pretty pathetic case anyway.
