    I'm doing the first upgrade of three right now... so far only a few little minor issue's that were sorted pretty quick.
    The biggest issue was the DNS breakage of contribs.org.
    I have faith.. it seems ok so far.

    Why the hell would you compare sharepoint and Domino???

    If you're going to make proper comparisons you _really_ need to compare Domino with Sharepoint/Exchange maybe even that "other" MS Web server products *shudder*.

    Domino is everything to everyone and uber fucking stable at that.
    The _only_ thing that sucks about domino is the Notes client and personally I can get over that because the alternative is just as pointy-end-of-the-pinapple bad.

    I almost never put my real name on the net, I use my "nick" extensively (it _really) cuts down on phishing attacks and makes them much easier to spot), If I have to put my name down for anything other than CC purchases I put my initials in only.

    Out of site out of mind and common sense is the only way to survive.

    I've got it installed on all three of my Ubuntu PC's, and I may be throwing it on my Girlfriend this weekend.
    I use it at work and LOVE it.
    I've also got copies of this live CD to give out to anyone that likes what I can do.

    I really expected it to get annoying but it doesn't, I find it kind of refreshing and it helps deal with all those layers of BROWN. :-P

    One thing I have found strange is that it seems to work smoother and better on my laptop with a geforce go 5200 than it does on my 6600 FX card?!?!
    Weird but cool.

    Where it was let down was in the procurement and maintenance sections... where BOTH sucked fetid dingo kidneys.

    That was 3-4 years ago now.. so I hope Oracle have picked up their game....

    I went cold turkey on caffeine about a year ago.. I became way to reliant on it and at one stage I even had a "fit" because of a Caffeine overdose.
    It contributed massively to my continuing downhill hill slide in the general health area.
    Coffee is a diuretic, diuretics cause you to lose water from your system, the less hydrated you are the more sluggish and lazy you feel, after a while (if your lucky) you wake up and realize that you stopped exercising a long time ago and now your an unhealthy fat fucker.

    You can do one of two things..
    Sue Starbucks (not gonna win)
    Get up off your lazy fat arse and go exercise _every_ day

    Bet ya most people sue :-(

    The stuff is subtle and dangerous, consumers beware.

    I wont bother mentioning who because we're in Australia.

    But I find it hard to believe that _most_ IT companies in the US over 20 employee's wont do this.. you obviously didn't ask anyone from the real world.

    I work for a largish reseller/supplier/hosting and support services IT
    company in Australia.
    The slow roll out of Linux in Australia I believe is directly
    attributable to two things:
    1) IT staff are not trained to support this "new" beast in the market,
    and if not trained can not offer support.
    2) the sales guys all think it's a load of "hippie love" and can't
    understand how there can be any money made from it. Those that do
    understand are very few and far between, but don't care anyway because
    the proprietary software sellers are offering larger bonus's for
    selling their gear.

    Reporters (ie anyone) reports to the WikiNews, the community and a "board" will vet the news and the best/most popular stuff will be published in major cities.
    Obviously this will require a lot of money and infrastructure but the concept is an exciting idea..
