I wonder if she also abstained from typing on a keyboard and texting on a cell phone. Kids are doing more and more things with their hands and fingers since child labor laws were enacted. Well, I just made that up, but I'm sure gaming isn't solely to blame.
Curious, the review at MMOCrunch (TFA) actually made it sound really interesting and even fun. But good to hear multiple opinions about a game. Not that I have time to play an MMO these days anyway.
Decent TTS in a widely-used device will basically kill the audiobook market
Ahh, no, it will probably not. Part of the bonus of listening to the audio book is the actual human narrator. Until the software can emulate the voices of some of the best readers around, including the actual author of the book, I will still prefer audiobooks when available.
authors should be compensated in some way for the revenue lost there. What's wrong with that?
Are you serious? With that logic, any company that has been put out of business by better technology and services should be compensated for their "lost revenue". Please, not every company needs to try the RIAA tactic when losing customers.

Gentler and nicer but with a whole lot less information, delivered at a much slower rate, and even if the information was out there, most search engines were far too inadequate to actually find anything worthwhile.
I haven't played the game for years, so I don't remember the moment they appear, but I'm pretty sure you're still playing as Serge at this point so it has to be early on (the game was a LOT longer than it should have been).
I don't think Chrono Cross is a bad game... it's just a really bad sequel to an amazing game. I think they should have just made it another Final Fantasy, it probably would have sold better and its existence probably wouldn't annoy me.
Also, the music rocked in Cross, I will give it that.
It's a sequel, but it is hardly "packed with references" and is "explicitly set in the same world" only because they say it is. There's no sense of familiarity. And Schala was hardly a main character in the original, more like, hey, what happened to that one chick
There's really only two scenes that explicitly tie back to Chrono Trigger, the first being that crappy scene where the ghosts of Crono, Marle, and Lucca are pissed at you, and the second being the final boss.
My neighbor believed this, her husband was dumbfounded, but he and the doctor couldn't convince her otherwise. I had never even heard of it before I had talked to her husband. Kind of sad.
Not sure how much this matters, but Niagara is out in the middle of nowhere. Being between Rhinelander and Escanaba is pretty much guarantees that. Plus it's dangerously close to the UP.

Hmm... that would be pretty annoying. In my neck of the woods they just put up pictures of cute babies and pull at your heart strings I guess.
Is there like a master list of all the R18 and X18 sites...? I think I need to check it over to make sure they all deserve to be there.

I'm curious if any of the paying customers, non-beta, were affected. Not curious enough to RTFA though.
Well, did you reply back with a yes or no?
I love how these so called god fearing Christian Republicans
Huh? Can you still say so-called when he doesn't even call himself that? You so-called Mormon Monarchists sure say the darnedest things.
I have both and can use these without problems,
Sounds like my ex.
I have a Linksys PLK200 set connecting my living room to my basement router and over that I:
Stream HD movies from Netflix
Stream tons of other content from my media server
Play online games over Xbox Live
Surf the internets
All without a problem. But then again I also use a wireless mouse and an LCD monitor to play first person shooters...
I've also noticed no problems due to microwaves or the dishwasher.
Except no one reads the articles.
Someone above mentioned blackjack tables with pole dancers, just head to one of those tables, they won't wonder why you're playing pocketed then.

Soon you'll be able to "help" them with their mortgage and credit card bills too.

I'm assuming this has no chance of defeating encrypted connections?

It shouldn't matter what opinion you have on net neutrality, there is absolutely NO reason this should be in the stimulus bill.

Geez, don't remind me! My four month old is probably at home at this moment with my topless wife!
Editors use spellcheck? Oh, that's what the just kidding was for.
