Pretty much the exact same thing as I did in High School. If I then went to do another science degree, I would get recognised prior learning. It basically comes down to the Institution has to cater for the fact that not everyone has done the subjects being taught. Of course, being from Australia, I'd have to say I'm surprised by the level of infection here in Oz. Not so much how many people are affected, but how far it's progressed in those that are affected. Those that are infected have been so for so long that they thought that Australia would do anything other than get their "asses" (maybe Donkeys get infected from eating rats...) kicked in the first round. In fact the infection is so bad that they then claimed that "Australia could be proud with what the Socceroos achieved" (proud at getting thumped... Riiiight).

Sorry but I had to lol at this. What was actually written on the axe was "Bill" - because it was his axe. And now the deciphered writings are all containing phrases like "That duck has an axe!", "The members voted and passed the new Axe" and "Monday - Remember to pay the Axes".

But I guess it does make sense to write "Axe" on an "Axe", just to be sure. Oh bugger - where'd I put my Axe, all I can find is my Bill.

How do you think she got into Parliament?

When you vote (assuming you're old enough to vote) do you tick a box on your ballot that says "Yes I want x as Prime Minister"? Or do you just vote for your local candidate. I suspect the latter, because that's how our system works. Of course the fact that you can vote for the Greens and that helps Labour (or the Liberals - whatever the greens fancy at the time) get into power doesn't figure in your analysis of the political landscape does it?

I find it a little odd that TFA talks about how an aircraft flying through a cloud causes it to "cool", resulting in the supercooled liquid suddenly freezing. There's a very well known phenomenon with supercooled water where it will remain in a liquid form, until it comes into contact with ice crystals. I would think that that was a far more likely cause of the clouds suddenly being filled with ice rather than a jet or turboprop "cooling" an already supercooled cloud.

I see you subscribe to Googles claim that they "did it accidentally". Despite the fact that they (a) wrote their own software to do it, (b) Used a 3rd party piece of software to do it and (c) setup and configured the software to do it. Based on your ideas to make looking at someone elses mail legal you would have to drive around with a huge street sweeper, sucking the mail out of the letter boxes and doing so while "Not knowing that the street sweeper is actually there".

The fact is that if Google have broken the law - then the investigation will find that and Google will be held accountable. However this detracts from the original point that this article is nothing to do with creating new laws - it is all to do with an EXISTING law that has been there for a very long time.

It's like complaining that investigating someone regarding the theft of a car is creating a new law. OMG what a draconian state this is, a new law is being created to attempt to pin the fact that they dared to drive a car that wasn't theirs.
