    I'm no expert but your example seems to be asking for a better tool, what about a dbms? Don't get me wrong, excel is a nice spredshhet but was never realy designed for database vork, correct me if I'm wrong.

    Hmm 120 fps slow motion ..... And here I thought that was for capturing semi fast motions ( ok it turns into slow motion when you play it bak at a lower frame rate but so does any other material playd back at a slower rate then it was recorded at). But you ar correct a smartphone capturing 4k (is that digital cinama 4k or what broadcasters call uhd, iirc ther is a bit of difference in aspect ratio an pixel count) iat 120 fps is impresive,. On a somehvat related subject : when wil 4:2:2 chroma subsampeling or at least 30 bit rgb filter down to consumer/prosumer gear?

    Yes there is Galileo (once all sattelites are up an you hava a two frequency reciver) will probably be better until GPS Block IIIA is operational, so for applications where you need realy precise time synching your best bet witt be a local (as in on site) galileo reciver that serves to sync a ntp+ptp server used to sync all on site system Disclaimer: I am not an expert on time sync problems so any corrections are greatly appreciated

    Ok I'm no developer but this srikes me as a bit strange why do you need a function that only ever returns a static hard coded value. Can this be solved by public const PI=3.14; ? Am i missing domething? Or was this a joke, hmm did i here a wooosh...........

    Well you wold get more minutes of surfing but you will just spend those minutes wating. I keep bringing up this point: 3G/LTE etc. Is not a replacement for fixed broadband (dsl/cable) but wery handy when you are on the move, but everything has its use if you need to move large amonts of data (4k straming, full backups etc) mobile broadband is not for you, however I agree

    UHD is not that important to me at this point cost of UHD tvs etc are still to high), but a bump in quality would be nice. I have a sugestion what about starting to broadcast/stream using 4:2:2. hroma sybsampeling instead of the current 4:2:0 efectivly dubeling the croma resolution of the picture. and start using h265 and use the same banwith you use now, net result. mouch better hD with no need fir exoensive UzhD tvs

    ehm, is exchange licenced per address or account? (not trolling, I haven't used exhange in a long time) if MS demands a licence for an alias they are ready for a mental institution imho. I suspect thet they licence per account ( ad user), so unless these people have multiple accouts ( admins whit an admin and a day to day account. etc) something strange is going on

    show mw a streaming service available to me(that is in Norway) that streams the restored StarTrek series (Tng, ENT) in 1080p with 7.1 lossless sound. I suspect you will find that a hard job, so at present the only way for me to get what i want legally is to get the blureays.

    Can you provide the swedish name for this tax (I'm a norwegian with a lot of swedish relatives)? And for the sake of others (that don't wish to check the swedish tax code) Is this a per person, per household or per device tax? Hmm, is this "tax" what was previously referred to as TV licence which IIRC you cold avoid by notowning a tv receiver or (in the days of analoge tv) having the coax on your tv permanently blocked off ?

    I agree, the DVD/Bluy-Ray will not go away, and not only because of the abbiolity to play when the internte connection goes down, but also for its grater audio/video quality. Will there be a day when Netflix et all can match Blu-Ray (or whichever is the lates physical media distribution" , maybe and when that day comes I guess owning physical copies will be a thing of the past bor not before

    What you described is soemthing like Galileos public regulated service , well PRS is encrypted but I suspect tis is just e way for ESA to collect a bit of revenue

    Wow 125$/season is even more expensive then here in Norway 87.90$/season (incl vat + postage). And while it may be available for streaming on a number of services the qualety never even gets close to Blu-ray esp the sound, if you don't agrre I urge you to compare Dolby digital 5.1 what you get if you are lucky) from netflix etc to the 7.1 lossless (I don't witch lossless codec they used on ST:TNG not that it matters) you get form the blu-rays.

    What we need now is a switch with 8-24 1Gbps ports for clients and a 10Gbps uplink If i undrestand correctly that wil be 416.6 Mbps nonblocking capasety for each client if everyone rons at full speed simultaneously. I think this will work well in a small office (well up to 120 klient ports (2 bonded 10Gbps ports from nas) 1 from internet facing firewall) that leaves 5 ports on the switch you refference above) each of these ports is a drop to one one of the switches I outlined at the start. I'm not e network architect so if the oversubscription on yhe klient facung switches or the ports serving the nas arte to great, or i missed anything else please tell me corrections are always greatly appreciated.     Depends on what network you are on, Freenode has nickserv so you can register your nick, ok the account expires after n days (iirc 90) without a login, but then again if that is an issue for you, you are not really active on that network are you
