I grew up in Canton, Ohio. It is a HELL HOLE! I currently live about 20 miles North of this piece of shit city near Akron, Ohio (Copley Township). The city of Canton, Ohio is home to the NFL Football Hall of Fame, for which they are infinitely proud (LOL). The city used to be home to many manufacturers. Steel, Engines, etc. In the '70's, when the economy tanked, over 60% of the population was unemployed. People went CRAZY! I recall growing up being surrounded by drunks and druggies and people neglecting and abusing their children, wives, etc. This place is a complete an utter STINK PILE! If your ever think you want to go there, DON'T. It has got to be one of the worst places on the face of the earth. The people are all crap! The city is crap! The schools are crap! The police are crap! The city officials are crap! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP!
Personally, I think everyone on Slashdot should DDoS every website even remotely associated with Canton, Ohio government or industry. By the way, it is also the corporate home of Diebold Inc. I created a little Java applet that is called from JavaScript....this little applet does nothing than act as a Socket Proxy (both UDP and TCP) for "Push" type of interaction....it is *very* small and add very little to the overall bandwidth...also, once downloaded is cached and used by all my AJAXey applications without a problem....works rather nicely....has allowed me to access data through a legacy, developed in-house message passing system based on UDP that obtains data from Mainframes via COBOL and crud like that.....

Involves biology, ecology, chemistry, business studies, economics, etc, etc, etc. I know this because I know several farmers (Dairy) and they are quite well-educated people. Their working conditions are atrocious as are their hours. And don't even get me started on their pay. Yes, they generate a lot of revenue, but, by the time they factor out expenses, they end up with like $25,000.00 per year at best. Out of that they have to pay their own health insurance etc. This for caring for a herd of over 400 head of dair cows. Producing the wonderful milk and dairy products we all enjoy.
