Cause we can't afford to waste the money when we're crunching statistical genetics regressions on graphics cycles that have nothing to do with work.

    Why upgrade?

If you buy a new box, you'll most likely get the new OS, but for old boxes that still run and will continue to run, why bother? Geeks love new flashy stuff, but users only care if it works.

This is why you have people that still have Office 2000 and run XP as an OS.

Yeah - Here's the kicker, found on Page 2 of TFA:

Exactly how the 11th dimension would be expanded and shrunk is still unknown.

Sounds pretty similar to the way I walk - I move my feet and the Earth rotates beneath me. I'm planning on starting to fly instead, it's just maintaining altitude after lift-off. But I won't let that small detail stop me from making travel plans - I'll work that out after jumping.

    Being half serious:

How will those, that are aware in the 11th dimension, experience this when WE expand their Universe?

"Honey, does this warpship make my ass look fat?"

And the 11th dimensional husband heads out to the 9th dimension for a drink before he answers that question.

Careful there, Sparky, you are not as anonymous as you think you are, and as a private citizen, assisting and acting to bring down a government can be considered a criminal act. Iran's connectivity problems are just as likely to be the US's fault as they are their own. Destabilising a government often involves removing access to communications then blaming it on the local regime.

Actually, turn Tienanmen, the U.S. government and world intel agencies realized that if you really wanted to destabilize a government, you made sure the unkempt, disaffected masses HAD communications. Remember all the faxes coming out of China back then? I'd be willing to bet that British, American, Israelis and other interested countries are busting their humps making sure comms stay open so they can get the information out and allow Iranians the ability to organize.

There are things you don't even tell family years after. Even when its declassified the honorable ones take it to the grave.
