    What I'm saying is that a lot of people actually appreciate his style, and enjoy hearing a story being told at the story-teller's pace. Quite the opposite of the David Gemell fantasy-lite genre, Jordan took the time to create an entire universe and populate it entirely with three-dimensional characters and landscapes. Some people like this. If it's too much for your own attention span to take, then move along and let the rest of us (and yes, there are enough of us to put every book on the NYT best seller's list) enjoy it. You don't all have to express your frustrations every time the guy's name is mentioned.

    A quick survey of the comments so far paints an overwhelmingly negative picture for the series...
    I just wanted to point out, as a life long fan of this series, that there IS a reason every book the series has appeared on the New York Times best-seller list, and most of them have been #1 when they first come out.

    This is a really strange reversal of the laws that govern Marijuana:
    In many countries it's illegal to smoke marijuana, but legal to sell the tools to do so (Head Shops).
    In America, it's legal to make copies of your DVDs, but illegal to sell tools to do so..

    Kind of makes a mockery of the law, doesn't it?

    I'm going to brush aside your assertion that immigrants to America don't deserve rights, and your self-professed ignorance of other countries just long enough to burst your Utopian bubble:
    There is absolutely nothing in the WW legislation to say that domestic intercepts require any evidence of the Nationality of either party to the call whatsoever. You can claim that "the intention" was to "target foreigners" all you like, but if it ain't in the law then it's entirely at the discretion of the acting officers.

    There is an undeniable contradiction in your case:
    Either you endorse Bush's Warrantless Wiretaps or you don't.
    If you do, then its certainly no better than whats happening with IP addresses in Canada.
    If you don't then why didn't you shoot him?
