Software companies should understand the more the price tag the more the pirating. The more anti pirating software the more crackers there be to take the challenge of pirating your software. The more the rights taken away the more of rebellion will happen. Theres more pirating today with software with tha anti pirating software on them than there was 5 years ago with out the anti pirating software. Most of the software targeted for pirating is the software that cost more than $50 for.
By saying this if Microsoft really wants to stop the pirating of its OS then for one they should stop charging over $200 for it. I mean who in the right mind would pay $200+ for a OS thats virus, spyware, adware infected? Not only that who would PAY $200+ for software?? Honestly a good price for Windows would be around $50-100. Then stop it with its "anti pirating software" bullshit. The more anti pirating software a software company puts in it the more of a chance it will be pirated for the main fact its a challenge for crackers. Its asking for them to come crack it.
But back on subject.. This does not surprise me at all. Microsoft most likely as more things hidden inside the computer that reports back to Microsoft. Glad i'm a Linux/Mac user.
I love it how they attack video games for being sexual or violent yet they don't go after tv or the movies that have WAY MORE sex and violence in it. Ugh stupid hillary clinton.
Well I like Windows Mediaplayer 11. Just got it and I must say it runs extreamly nice. Looks beautiful and runs very stable and smooth. I like it more than Amarok, then again I like any other Media Player than Amarok, it sucks... But no matter what, XMMS will always own me.
........ Dude his computer only has 256MB of ram, a 5 year old video card and a 5 year old processor. Why do you think your laptop runs better? You have under a year old processor, 1gb of ram, and a kick ass video card. Of cource Vista will RUN A LOT better on your laptop. His comp IS NOT MADE for Vista since Vista needs a $2,000 computer to run on.
I hope Novell doesn't screw Suse over. Suse is the only distro I really like. I tried over 50 diffreent distros and Suse is the only one that just runs great for me. Its stable, fast, and most of all it just works right out of the box.
But never at least I still mess around with the other distros on my other computers that I just use to mess around with. Right now I got Slackware 10.2 and FreeBSD on my other 2 comps.
I use Kernel 2.6.11. It runs great and never have any trouble with it. I was thinking about going to 2.6.13 but 2.6.11 working great so why upgrade. 2.6 is faster than the old 2.4 but if its working great for you and your able to do every thing you want then stay with it. Why upgrade when every thing works.
