    Forcing christian students to learn Evolution is a violation of United States Constitution under the First Amendment.

    "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

    Forcing christian students to learn evolution, which is a theory and not fact, prohibits the free exercise of their religion.

    Actually, it is sales of 'Serenity' DVD that will tell Universal/Fox on how popular the movie is.

    on Amazon.com -- It is currently a top seller for Science Fiction DVDs.

    David Horiuchi, DVD Editor for Amazon, makes Serenity #4 in Science Fiction & Fantasy category.

    Firefly probaly was not as popular as the movie could have been due to Fox's inability to market it's shows. I never once saw anything about Firefly before or during it's airing. Only reason why I saw the movie was because of Scifi channel airing of reruns and previews of the movie.

    Red Cross, cash or whole blood.

    Homeless Shelters that help homeless people get back on their feet. The Union Missions are a good example.

    Goodwill Industries. It's not just a thrift store. They actually help low income and disabled people get work. Income from stores and donations pays for the training of students

    Operation Blessing. Though faith based, Operation Blessing hands out food to people around the world. They also have a jet that has doctors and dentists and helps people across the globe. I've volunteered there few times.

    Buying a ANY Linux Distribution from any retail store.

    You are right. The majority of America still do not have a HDTV ready TV. It is one of the reasons why the government is working on subsidies to help low income and poverty level income brackets buy hdtv receivers/turners. This will enable Analog TVs to watch HDTV.

    FYI -- Low Income and Poverty Level people can not afford $500 HDTV ready tv.

    The future of computer interface could similar to props used in a Sliders episode, 'NET WORTH'.

      There is another episode on new Outer Limits where people have implants attached to their brain. Implant links them to a large computer where they can access information at request. It is Episode 305, Stream of Consiousness.

    Internet itself is rampant with fraud. eBay does have alot of fraud cases but its every where else online. The key is knowing how to protect yourself. And if fraud does occur, where to go from there -- FTC and Consumer Affairs (businesses).

    If there was a Google Auctions, it would also have fraud cases.

    Someone missed a reply to the email by Nat Friedman. I'll just quote a small section for your reading.


    Usability is important. Usability encompasses multiple things: functionality, robustness, performance, sensible user interface design. We all need to do a better job of this (insert usability testing/betterdesktop.org plug here).

    Follow either of these ideas to their logical extremes and we won't have a useful desktop for a large user base.

    We need Linux to grow up if we're going to make Linux on the desktop a success.


    I really do agree with this guy.

    Thank You. I am glad someone else noticed that. The article clearly stated twice that it's not set in stone.

    It said they expected to reach an agreement before the end of the year, but that it was still possible that Time Warner's America Online unit could strike a deal with competitor Google instead.

    Time Warner has been holding talks with both Microsoft and Google over AOL, sources familiar with the situation have told Reuters and other media.

    This is already being done with individual products. Gillette packages many razors with hidden rfid tags inside it's packages.

    The problem is many are boycotting such products due to alleged health risks. RFID signals go through anything. It makes it impossible to put RFID tagged items in your pockets and walking out of the store.

    I wonder why Canada even bothers attempting to be independent.

    Why doesn't Canada just join United States? It would be most beneficial for both countries. Canadians would enjoy a large tax break while US would see twice our current landmass.

    It's just another one of my friends who installed Firefox on a clean uninfected machine but ended up with bloated registry and alot of spyware. Also complained that completely removing Firefox was a pain in the ass to do.

    *Yes, Firefox has been known to allow spyware to infect a pc.

    Jeffrey Bezos's dark jackets, simple blue shirts, and khakis. Jeffrey is ceo of Amazon.com.
    Larry Ellison's similar look to Steve Jobs. He likes to wear black mock turtlenecks too but with a nice jacket over it.

    I guess key thing is aim to make yourself presentable. No Jeans with starbucks coffee stained tshirts. New pair of jeans, tucked in collared poloshirt, and semi-dress shoes is good start.

    I really do believe in the human body and things it is caapble of. If one takes care of one's body, You are likely to never be sick.

    1. Eat Healthy -- ie not mcdonald's.
    2. Take Multi-vitamin supplments.
    3. Drink Soy Protein shakes. If possible, with soy milk.
    4. Ensure you take in essential fatty acids from things like fish oil.
    5. Keep up with anti-oxidants -- Vitamin C, E, B12, Beta carotene, and others. They help protect cells from damage.

      I am saying all this because if this story is true, then this guy's immune system was obviously strong enough to withstand a hiv/aids virus attack.
