  9. Bit of logic, conservatism, and biblical knowledge on Does Income Inequality Matter? · · Score: -1, Troll

I find that most people today are lazy. And people who work in minimal wage jobs aren't worth $5.15/hr. People don't work hard enough to be paid $5.15. The average minimal wage worker today is only worth may $2-4. People should be paid what their worth and not what they should be paid. People today are lazy slobs who don't give a rats ass about others and thus don't deserve the money they do have. Next time you visit a busy well trafficked store, look down on the floor. Take a look at the trash. That is laziness. Look at the side of roads and all the trash there. People carry that attitude to the work place. They do half baked jobs as slowly they can. Minimal Wage workers don't deserve the $5.15 hour they get now and Minimal Wage should not be increased until those workers actually deserve it.

The richest people in the world go where they are now not by being lazy but working hard. They went to school and studied hard. They proved they are worth thousands of dollars every month. They truly deserve the money they get. And taxing them more is UNEQUAL and is a Violation of the US Constitution (comment directed at usgov taxation).

Also consider the proverb, "The love of money is the root of all evil..." (Timothy 6:10). The world's problem is the constant need to acquire wealth. If the world could removed money, it would remove the need and the love of money. The crime related to money will go along with it. One question remains, What would the world do without money? And if it could rid the world of money, What would it be like? Of course, that was Gene Roddenberry's dream.

Actually, I think you are wrong. It is could have a hard drive that is similar to the one Macbooks have. If you look at the macbook specs, It is 1 inch in height. Whereas the Apple TV is 1.1 inches in height. And it better have a hard drive over flash drive. Otherwise, it will bomb. 40gb is way too small for video.

And As I said in the reply title, This only the beginning. With more thought, Apple could make it stream live video from a desktop or notebook. And plenty of other things they can do with it.

  15. Beginning on iPhone, Apple TV Headline MacWorld Keynote · · Score: 1

The Apple TV is Apple's version of Tivo. And of course the box doesn't have tuner. That's what your COMPUTER is for. Your computer records the program, you stream video to Apple TV and watch the program. I expect Apple will further refine this hardware even further in the coming years but it is a good start.

Why did they call the iPhone the iPhone? It is more like a PDA with phone ability builtin. With Google tools, you got all the business apps you could need.

The only thing I would change is replace that damn small drive with 160gb drive. I'm betting it uses similar drives as the MacBooks do.

HD-DVD will win and Blu-ray will go the way of Betamax. Sony will feel the pinch financially when both Blu-ray and PS3 both flop.

Why will HD-DVD win over Blu-ray? Consumer are idiots. When a average consumer sees Blu-ray? All they see is a new disc format. The name does not say I am High Definition. Today, when a consumer sees HDTV, they immediately know the tv is High Definition. When they see a dvd player that says HD-DVD, they will immediately recognize that this player will play High Definition movies to go with they HD-TV.
