How is that insightful? If you don't like the ToS, that doesn't mean you can break them. And I really doubt you could find an affordable service provider that allows connection sharing.
Maybe you're just unlucky. I've flashed the firmware on my WRT54GSv2.1 more times than I can remember, and I've never had a failure. I personally love Linksys's home network products. (I dunno about Netgear's business products, but their home ones are crap, IMO.)
God is entirely good. God is entirely perfect. God created everything. Evil is a lack of good. Evil (non-good) exists in this world.
Since God is good and perfect, he must have a good and perfect reason for allowing evil to exist. Evil must exist in this world so that it is perfect in the end. After all, if we didn't experience evil at some point, how could we truely understand and appreciate the ultimate good (God)?
Therefore God can exist. This is not a difficult proof.
Amen! Parents/schools/camps/etc. want a scapegoat, something they can blame for their incompetence. MySpace is the perfect thing to blame: it's new, it's different, and it's on Teh Scary Internet where Bad People hang out. Of course, the media doesn't help any with their scare tactics.
Sure, MySpace can be dangerous, but so can anything other forum, or social thing in the world, for that matter. I guess I just wish people would spend less time attacking MySpace and more time teaching kids how to be safe and smart online.
Maybe it's only mostly dead. Remember, there's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, there's only one thing you can do....
[nitpick]It's even worse than you think. 802.11b/g can go down to around 1 Mbps at minimum.[/nitpick]

So do I. I'd kill for a $5 new WRT54GL.
[sarcasm]Heh, you gotta love the mods.[/sarcasm] I thought everybody on Slashdot had seen that cartoon, spotty teen or not.
-- bcat, who is 15 years old, but (hopefully) not too spotty.
LOL, I guess nobody knows.

Mods, ever heard of sarcasm?
Is your average Slashdotter really better than your average 14 year old??
Maybe adulthood is worse, but being a teenager is no party either. I should know, I'm 15.
Damn, I wish I had mod points right now. That should be modded insightful, not funny.
OK, so by your logic:
Sites with advertising are evil.
Slashdot is a site with advertising.
Therefore, Slashdot is evil.
It kinda confirms what I though all along.
God is entirely good.
God is entirely perfect.
God created everything.
Evil is a lack of good.
Evil (non-good) exists in this world.

Some people really get tied in a knot about stuff like this.
You were lucky! In my day we ran on the treadmills ourselves (uphill both ways), and we only processed 100 instructions per minute. And we enjoyed it!

But do they run Linux?
You know, somebody really should make an online petition for display: table support in IE 7. I'd sign it in a heartbeat.
I know what you mean. Emacs would be a great operating system if I could only find the text editor.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. The article was definitely an interesting read. Good job, Håkon.
PS: Why don't you put up a sound clip of how you pronounce your name?
FIFTH TSOP!!! is more like it. ;)

Well, if he has a UPS...
*Slowly hands in geek license.*
OK, I just don't get it. Anybody care to explain?
The license covers the content, not the format. Given the right license terms, I can transfer the content to an open format and publish it.
Imagine a Beowulf cluster of sidekicks recovering YOU! I guess the real question is, will they run Linux?
