It's kind of odd that he supposedly accused all these innocent people, yet none of these innocent people can be named or come forth and speak out about it. Please, give me names of these "thousands of innocent Americans". I know you can't, but I thought it would be useful to pointout the fact that you can't. You're merely regurgitating what you were told to by the DNC and their cronies at "the big three" stations and the NYT. The kissing Billy's butt comment was made in reference to your unquestioning faith in the DNC (like the vast majority of people on /.). I thought you might be able to pick up on that, but I guess not. You can blame someone else for you bad luck / poor choice of field of specialization (I don't know what your doctorate is in, but in something essentially useless to a capitalist economy like art or english I can understand the lack of employment), but it doesn't change the fact that they had nothing to do with it. Your comment about how the only way to be successful is to profit from someone else's loss shows that you are a Marxist and are completely clueless to the realities of life. My life sucks right now -- really bad. Why? Because I made some big mistakes -- but I'm not blaming the government for it or anyone else. Why? Has it ever occured to you that maybe you should try some MS stuff post 98? I've run XP Pro since the day it was released and NEVER had a crash. Maybe your hardware just sucks or you're incompetent?

Apple implements a dozen more practices of a monopoly than microsoft, but since microsoft is focused on a different group of people (and therefore successful since they don't price gouge as a result) they're called a monopoly. If I were running MS, I'd just use the hundreds of billions that they have and hire a private army to deal with libeling people out there (especially governments like the EU who just want to extort money to pay their debts off).

One of my professors this semester made us do a project in Ruby just so we could see what it was like. It's pretty cool, but the IDE's still have a way to go before they're as useful as IDE's for other languages. The main reason behind that is that up until a few years ago Ruby was only used as a scripting language, while now it's starting to become used as a regular OO language (everything in Ruby is an object.....primitives don't exist at all). So, I'd say once the community that Ruby already has improves their IDE's it'll help Ruby take off.

Essentially it means increasing the length of IP addresses (because we only have a finite number and with IPv6 they claim there's enough IP address for every grain of sand on the planet) and IPv6 includes more information in the header to allow for better efficiency / functionality. As a result of this you'd need new routers, switches, and possibly network cards. The new routers and such would have to be IPv6 and IPv4 compatible because you can't switch them all at the same time. Obviously, it will cost money to make the change, but I think the $25-$75 billion is just plain made up to try to scare people.
