especially if the GBA player can be attached to the NR... I am 100% sold. It would mean that I can play 100% of the games I regularly play on my current box/SP with the new one, plus the game download service and unique interface.
We have an old school xbox in our living room on a DLP projector, and it already looks pretty good. I really only play Fable and Morrowind GOTY on it, and my roommates only play Halo 2 and Madden. As of yet we are not impressed enough to split a 360. That box will likely stay there until we can actually compare PS3 and Xbox 360 side to side.
With the crappy job Al Michaels did covering the superbowl... they could have traded him for a bag of Doritos. I think collecting a bit of Disney history is a good deal. ESPN can actually show detailed Olympics hilights. And now that Monday Night Football is leaving ABC, this is not surprising.
The article disappeared from my local paper's news site... but in 2005 the number one target of postal theft was netflix movies, both in-house and between there and the customer.
I have a $10 plan. When I'm watching shows, I usually have the envelope in the mail at the end of the same day I get it. I try to get through shows as quickly as possible, so as to keep it feeling linear. I've had times where I turned around the single DVD the same day I got it for almost 2 weeks (Band of Brothers/From the Earth to the Moon/The Office) and I did not see a hit in service.
for a mere $60 my band's CD will be on iTunes (through a distro deal my friend has). In theory, it will be just as accessible as Britney in terms of our fans searching and downloading. Granted, we had to sink money into starting a publishing company and registering our songs through BMI (OMG COPYRIGHT!). I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the undermining of major labels via mp3 for the past (just about) decade.
Their first mistake was going off of the FM band. Most successful internet radio stations around Boston have the physical station to draw in revenue. A popular net radio station probably still has less revenue opportunity than a small AM/FM one. My favorite station's webcast even plays DIFFERENT commercials on the web than on air... thus doubling their potential ad revenue.
The info being presented currently points me in the direction of a SP old. I play on oddly lit subways, and buses that have large windows. I am already used to playing on a GBC utilizing the aforementioned light sources... and not being able to turn off the backlight doesn't exactly sound good to me. Looks like I should buy the NES-styled SP old for $60 at the local EB.
I am debating buying either a micro or a new gen SP (as I still play enough GB/GBC games to warrant not going DS). Is the micro worth the $20 more than the new-gen SP? Is the screen legible? I'm not ready to put down my copy of Pokemon Crystal just yet.
It's the tiniest violin playing DoS attack concerto no. 3
In all reality, I'd love to do a Brian Eno-ish sort of "found art" album with music like this. http://www.fruityloops.com/ has a pretty cool function that turns pictures into ambient music, I'd love to hear server traffic in a similar manner.
If I remember correctly, there are 13 episodes, all of which are rather short. I hope they take the road that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVD's did, and have a $10 price point. I'm not going to shell out twice or three times that for pure nostalgia.
Someone call me when the Milli Vanilli episode of the Mario 3 cartoon is on DVD.
I'd wager that nearly everyone who acts like Blizzard is not anywhere near in the wrong, are likely the first people complaining about Google allowing its search to be restricted in China.
Just announced... Shadow of the Colossus 2
They don't use real names for big cities. Something fake yet believable. Oceana?
River City Ransom. Totally redefined the modern day set action-rpg. I have blown so many afternoons into evenings playing this.
Mario 3 still is the big one. I am quite glad that I now have it for long bus rides on the GBA.
Isn't it a shame that Mother 1/2 is not going to come to GBA in English?

Downtown Hold'Em. $5. Never a dull crap.
This is already somewhat in use.
band releases early copies of an album to reviewers. if the album leaks, the people who sent out the advances can find out who leaked it.
Selling a merch brig on Midnight ocean. 2k under market value.
On a serious note, do you like/dislike the new treasure drop format?
What if the crystal cracked?

Awesome resource on GBA info. Thank you.

If it's like the new SP, something like holding a shoulder button and pressing select modifies the brightness. Maybe there will be a similar function?
I usually play with the sound off (on the bus or subway) and a radio/ipod, so that's no biggie.
I like the NES controller design of the old gen SP... any insight on the frontlit version versus the new backlit one?
Somewhat on topic:

Or as Eric Mangine said: "If we can.. uhhh... win the... uhhhh... division. There will... uhhh... be better competition."
As a Pats fan I will miss the Herm's Jets vs. Belachick's Pats epic battles from the past few years.

+1 Slow Clap
pun intended. yuck.
1. Opt-in to program

3...
4. Ungodly profit!
Minus some crashing issues (on quit, of all times), I love the game so far. Thanks for the recommendation.
