Nevertheless I felt better in my twenties, even when out of shape. Now, after an injury I can't cycle anymore and currently am in as bad shape as I was in my twenties, but feel much worse because I am way older. So, if I had the choice of being in a good shape or being young, I'd choose the latter any day because good shape is something one can acquire, being young not so much.
