  1. Redhat is nowhere in Europe on Red Hat CEO Szulik on Linux Distro Consolidation · · Score: 4, Interesting

and Novell is doing damn well here in Europe. Novell's acquisition of SUSE in particular was supposed to mount more of a challenge to Red Hat's dominant position as the leading enterprise Linux distributor, but Mr Szulik maintained that the purchase has had no identifiable impact on Red Hat's business No indetifiable impact. These guys are working their way into the German, Freanch and beleive me or not even the lame Dutch are beginning to sing songs on suSe.

"The instruments detected both living and fossilized organisms, which is the kind of evidence we'd be searching for on the Red Planet."

So we can send our microbes there and just have to wait for like a few hundred billion years till humans's can survive there. I can't wait!

There is a reason why Oracle is Oracle, IBM IBM, MSSQL MSSQL. PostgreSQL is ok too but I doubt it if that will help them get their flat revenues back on target. I have a strong feeling that MySQL will soon be bought by Oracle and then they'll come up with a very very cheap Oracle liter version. But good luck to Sun tho.
