awwww, I've been waiting for alien hominid, but my 360 is currently awaiting it's shipment box to be sent for in-warranty repairs (3 red lights on ring of light):-(
if they want to cripple their sales by only selling in one place be my guest. And if gamestop has the business chops to land such a deal, also, be my guest.
... to see a fully functioning game early in the development process
Agile game development people... learn it, love it. IMO, constructing the "level vision" without regards to performance might help get the game approved by management, but will yield more difficulties in the future than it will solve.
Oh give it up man, do you really think that your "private content" is that interesting? You are more than likely giving yourself far too much credit. And if your private content really is that interesting, then you're the type of person that has already invested in a very secure infrastructure, and would likely not have the time to be bitching about a new service that you don't have to use on an internet site.
But what about the canadian v1agr4 supplier, and m4nh0od size increasement purveyors? how will they convince Wil Wheaton to place their products in his "inDigital" show?;-)
And if inexperienced scripters is really the major problem, then the PHP developers need to take them into account when developing PHP. This means that the PHP developers need to add features to their product that help prevent such inexperienced people from writing easily-exploitable scripts.
Microsoft calls this the pit of success... where it's easy to "fall into" a successful implementation

Ahh, there, now I've satisfied my daily quota of BS-speak.
Wondering if you guys ever considered using.NET as the scripting language (potentially using mono for cross platform... ness).
For background, see what the second life guys are doing with it
Yeah, unfortunately, the masses don't agree, or even care for that matter
