Bullshit! Your ancestors were still white Protestants! Mine were Jews, and I demand to be called a Jewish-American and given minority status! There are less of us than black people, after all.
It's kind of like why corporations don't want employees searching for pr0n during work hours. Congress and the President work for us, we have every right to know what they're doing on the job.
just to prove they can have sex (which IMO is almost universally what drives teenage sex)
You're opinion on this matter is dead wrong. As a bonafide teenager I can tell you that the things driving teenage sex are the sex hormones testosterone and estrogen. Human beings nowadays are biologically mature far sooner than they are treated as legal adults, ie: legal human beings capable of doing all the things human beings do.
I'm going to assume, for the moment, that you aren't as dumb as Windoze security tends to be. Why is there a difference? Do people listen to you, are you given a decent budget, or really should somebody else be doing your job?
Funny, but I barely ever watch television, go to about 2 movies a year, had decent parents, take showers on a daily basis, have no desire to be like anything else in particular and STILL want to code for some reason. Could it be I just happen to like something?
If you want to wake up easier I'd try ditching the coffee. Seriously, you've got an addiction to the caffeine and your brain is finding it impossible to wake up completely without it. Break the addiction and waking up becomes easier.
You damn well better be kidding. As many l33t script-kiddies as there are, plenty of youth on the internet are intelligent, know how to spell, and don't fit a single other of your stereotypes.
However, computer programs are only theoretically mathematical expressions. Slashdot, or pretty much the rest of the web, is intended for expressing human-meaningful data such as text and pictures. In the human mind Amazon's One-Click button is a "thing" "on" the screen rather than a set of numbers.
If eugenics, the use of IQs to decide destinies, psychiatry, and endless studies on "what's good for you" aren't an abuse of science to control people, than what is?
I would be extremely suspicious when "science" makes any pronouncements related to human life or nature that call for a change in public policy. If it just cures a disease, then by all means do it, but if it creates diseases to cure it's another story.

So would I. After all, a bare minimum RTL for Free Pascal (capable of running on bare metal) requires nothing more than heap support to get the language features working. The other annoying RTL functions don't need to be used or implemented at all, which pretty much mitigates the old complaint that Pascal requires an unwieldly RTL.
Just get away from the monitor, preferably outdoors, and sleep more. It is unhealthy to be in front of a monitor so much of the time, so drag your ass outside for a while, every day if possible. You don't even have to work out formally, just walk around for a good while.
Demos are for playing all the reasons you should buy the game. "Browsing" should let you see everything about a game.
Furthermore, #2 on that list nobody's fault but the game industry. I can sit in Barnes and Noble and read an entire book theoretically, but in practice there is usually too much content to "use" it all in one short time period.
#1 is perfectly true, though. If it can be bootlegged, it will. Still, in that case the store makes money off of the rental, right?
There isn't much in TFA except a nice point about how we should be able to "browse" video games in the way we browse through books or newspapers. Which does, in fact, make me wonder why stores don't allow you to rent a copy of a game, bring it back and decide whether or not to buy it. I've been doing that for years, but never with one store.
People have tried to get rules passed saying you can't have non-germane riders but the measures never succeed. Maybe if we tacked it onto a defense spending bill? Oh, wait, that defies procedure, you can't amend House or Senate rules in a bill...

And what happens if BellSouth's "competition", the cable companies, decide on Tiered Service as well?
Workmaking and work destruction are both greed, simply of different parties.

Especially kind of sad that they take their current power and blame everything on the younger generations.
Even according to RMS and his GPL, the software should only be Free if you give it to others for use.
Or you'll be wrong, which is plenty worse than me smashing anything on your porch.

Exactly, so you can get to work, flop onto your desk and go straight back to sleep!

If I had mod points...
I never thought I'd find more spam preferable to less spam, but seems like it's happening. The stupid ageist government should give me back my spam!
