    Thats the biggest problem with colleges, they teach basics and nothing more. sure if you want to make a program that calculates the speed and trajectory a plane needs to come down then you will get a head start there, but other then that programs teachers tech have absolutely no value outside, the way to learn is yourself research and learn. those who teach teach, those who do do, its great to learn the basics from college , but you will only learn the real substance on your own.

    i think this study is not takign in to account that its now taking longer for the movies to hit your home.netflix used to spit them out. now they gage you and start sending them slower and slower the faster you send em back.

    sure walmart might have a decent amount of games. but they really dont have all that many. pc wise. there are tons of games you can buy at ebgames, gamestop, target, amazon, and any other store that sells games that walmart has never sold. walmart woudl be the last place i'd check. i seriously doubt anyone could base titles on walmarts less then sorry amount of titles for sale.

    with any luck legal online downloads will take off and thus endinig netflix. they sure like to hold on to the movies for days before sending em. this makes it obvious that there tyrying to maximize there earnings before there demise

    i honeslty cant think of one.. i mean how much easier can anything be then to have mp3 files you can drag and drop in explorer to your play for sure device. ?? cant get any easier then that. no disc spinning so it uses less power.... so then what are these advantages?

    well reading it at other news places. they say it'll cost more then a dvd. so why would anyone want to pay more then a dvd. soem of teh niceties would be.. 1. smaller resolution 2. pixelated as heck ( have yet to see a pay for movie downlaodable that wasnt 3. no extrea featrues like in the dvd 4. drm so i cant tranfer to all teh devices in my house. streaming media player dvd player, psp, ipod, play for sure portables. etc etc... 5. no box work 6. no neat insert 7. no disc 8. no artwork on the non exsistant disc. 9. can anyone actually figure out a pro for this ?? hadnt they learned anything from umd. people dont want to pay more for less, if they can simpley buy the dvd and rip it and do with what they want. .. sometimes i really got to wonder were they get there 'ill'ogical logic.

    there stupider then a box of nails if they think apple will allow the format on there system. theyll simpley change the database structure yet once again, and go to lengths to block it.

    if its that orgami thing good luck ms geting people to waste 700 bucks on that.. only thing it'll kill is itself when noone buys it. if im goign to waste taht much i'd rather get a much faster much better laptop. with a much wider screen.

    in arizona had cox cable and the internet was blazing fast. moved to dallas area and comcast cant even compare to cox cable. sad that a company with such cruddy servce would get all the news and deals.

    this is the stupidest thing.i personally think that they should kill off the patent office. its killing innovation. jsut think if people acted liek this years ago we'd still probably have black and white tv's since someone woould have patent making tv's and no reason to innovate we'de still be seeing black and white. why cause if someone made another tv theyd get sued, or if someone made an addon theyd get sued. its crazy what people can patent nowadays in hopes of banking money off of smarter brighter people. sure they might have had the smarts to patent a half brained idea but its killing innovation.

    wow im surprised at the number of these stories in the past four months. musta been twenty or so. and i bet theyll never ever get. it. ive been so disappointed in teh number of half decent movies lately. i am very easy to please movie wise i like most movies simply for there entertainment value. but cant stand the artsy garbage that noone ever goes to doesnt make much money and yet wins a zillion awards.. anyways, its true nothing great to see yet there still pl anning trash for the next year. look at jobo or another sites on whats being produced and its filled with a lot of garbage.. disappointing.

    those dvd's that deteriorate after 48 hours made a brief 2 month appearance then folded up. ms shoud learn that consumers just arent insterested. sure this might be great for sending to those artsy people who review if movies are artsy enough to win an award, but then you always have one yahoo who uses his one view to rip the daarn thing ;) this is a pretty lost cause. but leave it to ms execs to try reinvent old technology.. ebtv cough cough ;) haha

    i tried to think of a real use for this. but it seems the only real use is for kids. sneakign it to school or church. the gameboy adnavce was small enough. this is no better then playing a game on the tiny phone screen. maybe im wrong but there really is no other use. the previous game boy advnace sp was small enough....

    jut like linux was going to do the same for desktops back in 98.. good luck w ith that. its like everyoen reporting tech news simpley expects ms to sit down and lay down and die. they forget that ms has way more money for r&d then ibm ever had. and ms likes to play dirty theyll make products the same and give away free as well. to kill there competition. i don't see google every being as powerful as ms ever

    every single news place posts there biggest argument is you can have hd-dvd now and not blueray. yet hd-dvd got deleayed until march 2006, and you can in fact buy a blueray tv top recorder if your rich enough now.. so whats teh deal ?? do news places onlien forget to tell the truth in there stories.. msnbc, cnet all of em say you can have hd-dvd now. but then the very next day they also announced its been delayed til march. and there are already retail blueray recording devices for the ultra rich.. so why are they still getting there stories mixed up ?>??
