Your comment essentially says that Atheists are amoral. But at least Jim Jones was "spiritual" and Saddam Hussein was raised Muslim and may still be (He was often depicted praying). As an athiest I find it insulting that you implied that being without spiritualism causes you to lack empathy. And very rarely do spiritual people stop doing what they would otherwise because it would be against their diety's wishes.

Dont think that Apple hardware is defective just because their customers hold them to a higher standard. You complained about the heat, well right now its on my lap and i cant even feel any heat. (Which is too bad, its freezing in here) and even when it was running both cores at full speed, it wasnt as hot as my old celeron 500mhz laptop doing nothing.
You also complained that the plastic comes off, well i've heard of many worse things happening on other laptops, and your basic dell has a terrible warranty.
As for stained plastic, i direct your attention to the grease stains on every frequently used keyboard wrist rest ever, they all get stained and this one happens to be white. spring for the black if you cant be bothered to keep clean.
And this problem wasnt even a true "problem" rarely would anyone even notice the difference in "clickiness" of trackpad buttons on your typical dell.
Basically dont let the fact that apple is incredibly high profile and expected to be perfect mar your view of apple.
Besides, in my experience with apple warranties, they are extremely prompt and quick with a brand new device.
I love my MacBook.
It seems to me that recreational users of adderol are being extremely cautious, at least as far as my friends go. Most friends of mine that use Adderol make sure that they avoid harmful interactions by reading up on their drugs before they take them, they also often take vitamins to lessen the damage of taking the drugs.
This is all while many of my perscription friends end up taking a cocktail of drugs that are known to cause interactions, and sometimes they're even perscribed at extreme doses (one friend of mine is on a 100mg daily dose, while my recreational friends take between 15 and 30)
Basically, it seems to me that most of the kids taking adderol are being more responsible about it than our parents who would take extreme doses of LSD back in the 60's and think nothing of it.
But adderol is certainly a wonder when you're in need of pep or a good grade.
How do you explain this to your idiot friends, who will invariably want to know if smarterchild will be there?
Jabber is a wonderful idea, but until people are forced to move (or are persuaded to by their current IM service by way of fees, or ineptitude), until people need to they won't want to change anything, because to 99% of the populus, "hey, whats up" needs no plausable deniabilty, and those conversations that do ("150 for an ounce?!") get lost easily enough to provide shelter in statistics.
Basically, people dont care if their messenger is that great, because i run google talk, and it does me no good all because my buddy isnt there too.
I was a beginning role player not long ago, and my first game was Cthulhu, and i miss that game like nothing else, the group has disbanded to a point, but Cthulhu is a great great great game, its honestly scary sometimes and (in my opinion) is WAY easier than d20 systems, percentile just makes sense. Plus my group of friends had a somewhat... slanted... idea of what an G-Man would do when confronted with problems; he would of course lob explosives at said problem!
We also played a lot like someone might play grand theft auto; ie we stole cars from mobsters and fired thompsons on their bosses.
Oh such good memories.
But then again i have played Eberron the same way, which resulted in many a laugh. (Can you set 200 warforge free and program them to steal clothes at all cost? the pillaging is wonderful afterwards if you happen to be a criminal [our DM has since decided we're too crazy to let loose in eberron])
