    Like the inferiority of Openoffice vs MsOffice. (even vs MsOffice2003 for god's sake). Or aMSN vs Messenger (esp. webcam support).

    It's all about the apps. Any Linux app. that is not computer-related, is inferior to its commercial counterpart. (Excepting firefox and ffmpeg. May be a development model like mozilla's is needed to reverse the general stagnation)

    Speedtests produce different numbers because of the different TCP settings.

    I bet you if you download an .iso from your ISP's ftp server and you measure the time it gets to finish, the results would be exactly the same irrespective of the OS.

    By burning limestone (CaCO3) which releases CO2 So we have CO2 released by the fuels to burn the stone, and CO2 released by the stone itself. Pretty nasty equation

    Alcohol (vodka, Jin) is an edible antifreeze. (or glycerine) The problem is though that once you add it, your ice-cream melts. (Thats the function of the anti-freeze, to prevent water from freezing)

    They also allow you to install AnyDVD that unlocks everything. If you believed in conspiracy theories, they wouldn't, cause in vista 64 there is mandatory signing of drivers. I think microsoft is a level playing field, for the media companies and for the consumers alike.

    How come they didn't test F-secure, which was the first to detect the Sony rootkit, even before Mark Russinovich wrote his article? I once scanned my usenet inbox in linux using clamscan with the latest definitions. It found nothing. Then I dual-booted to windows and scanned the same folder with f-secure, and it found plenty of win32 trojans.

    It seems they sell their machine with more than half of its components not working. In particular, no webcam/microphone. Not a viable alternative.

    Before home delivery, gas stations take fuel for a (bumpy) ride, and the volume increases, due to temperature and air entrapment. They also have a huge hosepipe so that the contents are measured but not sold.
