The earth doesn't need to be "good to us". What it needs to do is exactly what it does. it needs to behave like a giant organism and repair damage done to itself. Which is what the earth does when left to it's own devices. And since we are creatures that evolved to live here on earth when it's in good shape, that will suite us just fine. there doesn't need to be any candy-like feeling attached to it. Just an ounce of thought.

Give it time. You can't make an affordable car until you make them in large numbers in more than one state. if I were handcrafting cars one at a time, you can bet your ass they wouldn't cost 25,000. Think how much a gas powered car would cost without the infrastructure in place to support it. the price will come down if the cars are made.

that's a pretty limited view of the word, all things considered and if entertainment and enlightenment are mutually exclusive, I'd say you might have missed the boat on pretty much every important piece of art ever made.

Then again, I know several people who have been moved and educated by video games. Some games are just for fun and some are a storytelling medium. And anything that is a storytelling medium can be used both to entertain and to educate.

Any list i'm on gets emails that sound just like that every week. "I said remove me!@ You are demons!#%" and the response is always "just follow the remove link at the bottom of the email".

You can judge them all you want, and so can MS, for all i care, but nothing I can see here was a TOS violation, was it? I can tell people that I'm a lesbian all day long if I want.
