"aim for" - Sure. But today, the race is on to keep people developing in Flash and porting it to HTML5 for Adobe. They've put their foot in the door. How many browsers are working on fast SVG? I hear more about JavaScript performance that I have about SVG in any form. SVG is still very much in an infant stage on the browsers. Yes, there is some support, but it's limited.
Adobe makes money on the editor, not the player. If they can get people to develop pages in Flash and "sidegrade" to HTML5 that's fine by them as long as they are the first and forefront of rich HTML content development suites.
I've been switching back to Firefox for my primary since I can't seem to run Chrome on my other monitor in Win7 while also running a "fullscreen windowed" game at the same time without the whole machine completely locking up.
But if you do that, a great majority of inner city kids will flunk out of school and join gangs. Since you suggested failing students, that makes you a racist because some of those students will be minority. It doesn't have to be a majority... just enough to sound like a large number.
You can fairly easily get around that though (I imagine) by selling the system to your significant other or friend for $1 and have them let you use it?
Oddly enough, I had an 80G that still ran up until about 6 months ago, but there were quite a few that failed. I remember that line though. It was around the time I worked in a repair shop and we sent a great many in for replacement.
I had a dream that one day someone would read about my dream. I had a dream that that someone would post on my story. I had a dream that someone would make fun of it. I had a dream that someone would respond to that in light humor. I had a dream that they would note that in the same post. Now, those dreams become reality.

I'm sorry, but I fail to see how the compiler separating the byte-code for a class into a separate file has a tremendous affect on memory. How is that any different than the compiler taking that class and appending it to another class file? All the files are located in what basically amounts to a zip file so whether the VM has to look at a different virtual file or a different byte location in that file, it makes no difference.
I can't see how having the class in a separate file makes an ounce of difference...
I agree. Just let the businesses say, "We open an hour past sunrise" or put a little clock in their front door pointing to the time when the doors open. It doesn't have to be 8:00/9:00 or some other set hour so everyone has 9-5 working hours. I'd be perfectly fine going to work at 12:00 and leaving at 20:30 with daylight left in the sky.
Why don't we just drop all timezones and change the start time at work?
I personally would have no problem coming into work at 13:00 UTC/GMT and leaving at 21:30. I don't understand why 12:00 has to line up with the middle of the day.
I bet if someone did an honest study of the situation, they'd discover that the major factors are caused by our extreme income disparities, lack of social safety nets, and other socio-economic issues that Europe in generally is more "socialistic" about.
I can practically guarantee that the crime is caused by that (and I'm a very libertarian person...) The problem, however, is that socialist programs in the US usually end up with more people not willing to work and live off the system. We simply can't afford to allow people to do that here.
I have no problem with expecting civility in agglomerations. This act starts out that way, then it ventures into specific devices (which is where I feel they've lost the point...) Everyone keeps trying to categorize crime into divisions based on tools when you need to look at it in terms of the crime and the criminal. It feels as though blame is being taken away from the person doing the crime and being placed on the weapon... as if the human committing said crime is a victim of the device.
I was delaying answering your post because I can't decide how to respond kindly so I'll leave this...
Being a resident of the US living in one of the largest 15 cities, I do not see this. Yes, there are neighborhoods where crime is more prevalent and just about every major town has pockets of criminally active communities. Though, to say that the entire USA consists of "pointless carnage and mayhem" makes me think you get your viewpoint of the US from movies and television.

People still print? ;)
There's no mirror there... only a link to us.playstation.com where a link used to be.

Why not just eliminate timezones and switch over to GMT/UTC time? Does 12:00 absolutely have to be when the sun is at it's peak?
In this case... yes. One ceases to propagate itself and the other just changes color.
The difference is:
Speed traps make you money.
Criminal traps usually cost you money.

I didn't read TFA, but did they also use a similarly patched Windows installation? (if it was XP, there should be literally no patches)
I say it matters because a good portion of that makes IE work is built into Windows, so having an updated Windows means having an updated IE...
IBM/Hitachi Deskstar AKA: Deathstar
I'm sure it's not the kids... I had a SSN before I knew what it was, that it existed, or knew that I existed.
The "bad" part is that her domain name could be mistaken for something else... http://www.hynam.org/
Yeah, don't forget Glenn Beck! I still cringe when I think my Dad just asked me for a new email provider because Glenn said to quit using Google...

Do they not have doors in Europe?

This is Microsoft we are talking about... you may have been right on the first post. ;)
