I know I shouldn't but I have to bite on this one. So far everything I've seen from the Wii looks quite a bit above the Gamecube in graphics level, which I think leaves it in great shape given that Resident Evil 4 was one of the best looking games of any console of the previous generation.

Depends on your deffinition of serious. We once had a chemical plant explosion that required immediate evacuation of the premises and several mile radius of the plant (which included a few residential zones). Everything was evacuated within an hour, the chemicals were contained within 4 hours, and cleaned up within 24. Within a month the plant what operating again almost back to full capacity. If the plans weren't drafted ahead of time there would have been much more confusion of who had to evacuate, how to handle the chemicals, and clean up would have taken at least a week, but since there was already a plan in place the loss was minimal.

The last 3 companies I worked for, and 2 orginizations I am involved with all have disater recovery plans. Every large company I know of has somewhere in the building a really large 3 ring binder filled with plans on what to do in case of flood, fire, chemical spill, tornado, etc. The what to do not only covers immediate response but also steps to recovery. One company I worked for even had plans in case of a nuclear attack (but I think it was drafted during the cold war and no one saw a reason to eliminate it).

Don't be fooled. Wars are about resources, religion is used to accomplish the goal. The Crusades weren't about spreading Christianity, they were about taking products, markets, trade routes, and land. Later Crusades didn't even attempt to hide this fact. Even with half the Crusades had trouble organizing due to wars in Europe (the 4th Crusade, for example, took a long time to start because England was in war with France and Germany was fighting the papacy. If there wasn't the policy of the first heir taking all of the family inheritance no armies would have ever been formed for the crusades.

I am not understanding your argument here at all, for Windows does not need any copies made in order to run the program (unless you buy a licence any for some reason don't get the software for the licence). That clause in copyright law is that you can make a copy if you need to in order to use the item in question, in the case of Windows it is unneeded, so that clause is irrelevant.

Or not allowed to eat in their car? I've had seen several businessmen veer out of their lane after spilling some sort of sauce on their shirt. How about we eliminate carpool lanes and not allow passengers, since you are more likely to have more engrossing conversations with them since you also have body language to process and pay attention to. Spoiled young'n. If I recall correctly RealPlayer for linux supports MP3's right from the start, if you feel like putting realplayer into your distro. In order to play MP3's you need to have a program that pays the fee to decode MP3's. You used to have to download Winamp or an alternitive if you wanted to listen to compressed music, but now Windows Media Player pays the fee and is included on every Windows computer and iTunes pays the fee and is included on every Apple computer. If you can talk a distro into including realplayer, or if you want to start a company that pays the fee and roll out a media player for linux then you can have your out-of-the-box MP3 support.

You obviously don't pay for cable. The channels come in packages I have to pay for. In one of those packages is ABC/NBC/Comedy Central/ESPN etc., in another is Animal Planet/MTV2/The N/Boomerang/etc., and in another is HBO/HBO2/etc., all of them you have to pay for, just some channels charge more then others (HBO and ESPN are the ones that charge the most I believe). Unless you are watching an over-the-air broadcast, you are paying for your TV programming. ESPN, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, MTV, et al. don't get paid by commercials alone, they also charge the cable and satellite companies in order to show their content.
