Your comment is so laughable. Google is not anti-China; if anything it is anti Chinese government, which is a bunch of corrupt exploiters and killers.
China has laws? HaHaHaHa! The only law in China is the party itself. China has laws that nobody follows, it is all a facade. If you live in China or are Chinese, you know that's true. If you don't, well, then you don't know shit.
The question is, what law has google violated? They just added a redirect from google.cn to google.hk. What's wrong with doing a redirect, which is done by thousands of websites? Why is it ok that I type google.hk and see it but not ok if it is done automatically? Which is the "local regulation" that specifies that?
The answer is, there is not. And the answer is in China law is the same as government. There is not a set of rules we all play with, equally (well, there are, but they don't matter). The government decides what is acceptable and what not, and they don't even need to explain you way. And they don't.
Yes, I assume that.
It's not like these clinic operate cheating the patients this is all good and tested. Patients know it is new and dangerous, and they have to sign all kind of documents releasing the doctors of any responsibility.
So sad that one can talk about "ferry troops and heavy equipment to distant battlefields" without even mentioning the moral implications. We have got so used to the (probablly necessary) evil of armies that we dont notice it anymore
And what has a countrie's GDP to do with belonging or not the Third/First World? In GDP per capita, Brazil stands the 75th in the world. Enough said.
That's a feature, not a bug.

Can we find a way that does not involve outsourcing to India?
A list of ethical companies released by Forbes? What will be next, list of best people released by Hannibal Lecter?
Fortunately, the timescale for this is on the order 100 Gyr, so it will be unlikely to effect our lives directly.
I'm immortal, you insensitive clod!

It was her choice, she decided to take the risk. Adults make decisions about their own life (or death).
Can't decide what's worse, the fact this happens in this country or the fact there's people who makes comments like yours.
