Unlike code, artwork for games isn't inherently "sharable" - it's designed for the purposes of that game and that game only.
That's not entirely true - for instance, the portraits from Wesnoth work fairly well for Wikipedia. (the page on Liches uses one, and I could see a lot of other fantasy races using portraits from Wesnoth)
To be fair, there'd also probably be an outcry if somebody said "even a woman could hack this site". However, "my mom" was said, which is more about how old she is than what gender she is. (admittely, it's still partly about sex, but I think it's more about age)
"Cartel" seems more appropriate. (an oligopoly, off the top of my head, just means that there's very few competitors, not necessarily that they're working together)
Depends on what you mean by "Linux". If you mean Linux as in the operating system, the way people typically mean it, no, it started in Boston. If you mean Linux as in the kernel, then yes, it started in Finland.
I *think* that the DRM that blocks you from using SCSI drives will let you use them if you don't have any IDE drives. That's the impression I got from a review of a SATA optical drive, anyways.
You've got your correlation and causation backwards. Having a beard doesn't make you run Linux; running Linux makes you get a beard.
Luckily, they already duplicated his Smelloscope last year.
a book that forces you to learn to read if you want to know it's contents?
I believe that's called a "book".
SMAC has a native Linux version, though it won't play with the Windows version, and it's a bit of a pain to set up.
BadAnalogyGuy, is that you?
I don't use a Mac, but what's wrong with Safari?
Thank you for that, I thought I was going nuts for a minute.
You'd better watch out; I hear that stuff causes autism.
Is that why it came in second?
Er, wouldn't that be 100? IQ tests are normalized.
What the hell? Is this stripper bringing her kids in with her? And shaking them?
System76? (dunno how good they are for businesses, but the way I hear it they're alright for home users)
I had "I am not a lawyer but I have seen Law and... Worder?" (that's as far as I got)
I should probably add on that I'm discussing whether the story is sexist, not the AC.

Why does this even have a compatibility list? Shouldn't it just be a bunch of HTML and images on a CD? Why do they need any programs?
Well, that's easy: you use one license for the code and another for the content.

Yeah, but I bet they take out the cane sugar and replace it with HCFS.
They made a web browser webapp. Proponents say it's just like the desktop web browsers, except you can use it from anywhere with a web browser!

Maybe not an HP emulator, but there is an RPN program for TI-89/92s:

Dunno how good it is, as I don't really use RPN.
