    SMAC has a native Linux version, though it won't play with the Windows version, and it's a bit of a pain to set up.

    Unlike code, artwork for games isn't inherently "sharable" - it's designed for the purposes of that game and that game only. That's not entirely true - for instance, the portraits from Wesnoth work fairly well for Wikipedia. (the page on Liches uses one, and I could see a lot of other fantasy races using portraits from Wesnoth)

    To be fair, there'd also probably be an outcry if somebody said "even a woman could hack this site". However, "my mom" was said, which is more about how old she is than what gender she is. (admittely, it's still partly about sex, but I think it's more about age)

    "Cartel" seems more appropriate. (an oligopoly, off the top of my head, just means that there's very few competitors, not necessarily that they're working together)

    Depends on what you mean by "Linux".
    If you mean Linux as in the operating system, the way people typically mean it, no, it started in Boston.
    If you mean Linux as in the kernel, then yes, it started in Finland.

    I *think* that the DRM that blocks you from using SCSI drives will let you use them if you don't have any IDE drives. That's the impression I got from a review of a SATA optical drive, anyways.

    Maybe not an HP emulator, but there is an RPN program for TI-89/92s:
