...What an unusual story of reasonable, fair minded business professionals that seem ethical, responsive, and willing to admit or forgive a mistake. This is news, these days.
The inevitability of bird brains. Perhaps our future will routinely involve recalibration, or will chime like musical chairs. If not a nuke, perhaps a comet, or just a sudden stall, like a snooze alarm. 5 more minutes....just a few moments more.
If we all have our mini solar, wind, tidal, geothermal, chemical generators and trickle storage systems then we'll be smarter than the grid. If the grid remains smarter than us, then I guess we're not going to be very effective protection. Perhaps if we could just figure out how to stop people from trying to destroy our lives, our grids would endure, and we could avoid their crude oil and behavior.
Whats the point of law if not to pay courts? If we just leave out the legal action, we're left with less disbursement of cash and tunes. Its the new radio payola scheme.
They've been screwing us for years. What ever happened to the anti trust laws that smashed them into baby bells? I'm tired of over paying for electrons. Telecom is a major rip off, mostly we pay for advertising. We should make them pay.
Good point. The issue should be that corporations should not have more rights than our government or its citizens. Then again, shareholders and their lobbyists are not necessarily American. Maybe this is how unemployment can go up to 10% in the same year that the stock market gains 20% . Corporate interests no longer serve the citizens, perhaps.

Its even more cost effective than advertising or anti trust and its been legalized by congress who are all bought and paid for with voters. Democracy really gets shareholders their money's worth. Citizens cough it up here since they don't spend enough on taxes. WE MUST MAKE THIEVES PAY MORE THAN THEY STEAL OR THEY WON'T STOP. Don't enable corporate or legislative scum balls.
