It would seem like he'll be working as a contractor, still involved with his current projects. Presumably the deals in place with Silent Hills and MGSV will continue, but after that, who knows. There's a nice breakdown here and here.
This is just some clickbait headline, the entire thing is speculation, apart from the fact that Nintendo announced a codename NX for their next hardware. You seriously think Nintendo would follow up with something called the "Virtual Boy 2" with the bad impression the first one left? The "Virtual Boy" name is worth nothing right now. They won't even bring its games to Virtual Console on 3DS even though that makes so much sense it's crazy.
So will alleged conent owners begin sending DMCA requests now, and hold Google responsible? This is a two way street, it could end in a lot of legitimate apps being held hostage.
Yes, it's just a list of flagged tweets, hopefully this will satiate idiots that report personal insults because there's no way law enforcement has time for this bullshit.
This is ridiculous, they'll get flooded with requests, unable to handle them all. Every idiot that's willing to call 911 because the PlayStation Network is down is going to have a field day with this. Is there any accountability for those who use the tool?
...in case you're in an accident and your hand is cut off, or your face needs to be reconstructed, or whatever else that could happen. That mechanism better be secure as well, and what will it rely on, another password?
...but a ton of people do, so they're just expanding their reach. It doesn't mean Nintendo's traditional console/portable games will go away by any means, especially if they are able to offer unique experiences through specialized hardware. Even then, the experience they offer with traditional game controllers is enough to draw a dedicated following.
Will you have to retrain the mechanism to recognize you every time you switch from Brand A biometric sensor to Brand B? If so, it might not recognize you across devices anyway. It seems attractive in theory but I wonder how practical it will be in practice, since a typical user will have access to a variety of Windows devices at home and work.
Many console dance mats have large arrows that can be pressed with the feet, perhaps from a sitting position. How about repurposing one of these to provide mouse input? Using something like Joy2Key, and Keyboard mouse controls, such a device could be mapped to mouse input.
Why would developers make an app that's restricted by an interface that would work on a phone and not a desktop? Essentially they would still have to write two different apps, or at least two different interfaces. Metro didn't seem to take off on the desktop so I don't think universal apps with similar interfaces will either, desktop users don't want them and writing apps that essentially only benefit a small userbase is not effective use of resources.
I'm sure there are good reasons to datamine and bad reasons as well. Some goals yield benefits to many while others are more selfish. The question is if there can be more good done or more bad, and if the benefits outweigh the pitfalls. What are we wiling to sacrifice? Are our desires important enough to risk the pitfalls? Do we think we can account for the pitfalls and protect ourselves against them, or are we just being arrogant and blindsiding ourselves?
A lot of people get caught up using these services and wind up judging the people they follow whether they troll them or not, even if snarky thoughts aren't expressed, they're still made, just from scrutinizing so much on such a scale. Just don't go on there every day and take it easy, it'll be better for your mind as well as your exposure to vitriol.
There won't be much to do on/with Windows for the Pi 2, the only thing people will be porting to it is the same open source software that's on Linux for the Pi, buy why take all the work to do that and accomplish basically the same thing that's already possible with Linux? Practice for developers I guess, but I don't see what new opportunities having Windows on the Pi will do, it's not like that will bring along the Windows software ecosysytem. It will be the same ecosystem we already have on Linux, except piece by piece and not everything will be there for a while. It will be easier and faster to get up and running with Linux on the Pi. Will Windows even be able to catch up in this niche that's already so well served?
I already have. They don't seem to be getting the message, but I won't go back to giving them money that's for sure. Easy since they just produce cookie cutter games.
There aren't really many applications for it beyond professional design or perhaps firemen using it for imaging when they can't see beyond smoke, etc... Just niche applications so far. Perhaps a steep price drop could spur adoption and then the applications would emerge.

...so how has he taken advantage, really? Do you think there's a possibility that he personally sabotaged a competitor? Kinda doubt it...

Not to mention all the coverups and stupid mistakes being made. Is there no SOP for all of this?

But it wouldn't be a Microsoft product/service if they weren't able to change the name every two years

I have a relative that could use something like this, I hope it becomes affordable and readable for them soon.

Why am I asking you?
Same here, without it stuff just looks choppy and pans are jittery.
Just spent a good deal of time looking for solutions for Linux and I can't seem to find one, that's too bad. SVP is windows-only :(

I sincerely hope one or more of their people get shot breaking into some place and not identifying themselves as agents

The only reason I'm a member.
Now I have a repertoire of modules I can use to put together a site for a given situation.
This is the type of thing you actually have to research and prove one way or the other.
