    Naw, and probably won't happen. Too many people who are afraid of posting something that might not fit in with what ever group think they "think" is happening on /.

    You know those "I'm posting AC because I can't speak my mind otherwise because I would get modded down one point." morons. They would just post AC, see how it panned out, then if it didn't work out they would leave it be, but if it got modded positively they would try to reclaim ownership.

    That is a very good question, all I did was ask the same question many others had, I really didn't add to the discussion, but it did spawn some useful information.

    I'd like that also, but I imagine a lot of the changes with Google search results is due to spammers trying to game the system, and Google trying to fight them.

    Curious though, what would you prefer to point # 4? What do you expect the wheel to do when you scroll it on a map? It's not like you can scroll sideways.

    If you don't want people using the USB ports on your computers, why do you your computers have functioning USB ports?

    It's a prototype that is using common desert sand, it's not meant to be practical at this point.

    I wonder what he'll be able to put out using higher quality sand with the current design.

    Not wind, Solar.

    Your linked article is about wind turbines, not solar power plants.

    I kinda doubt that bats will get cooked by the solar arrays since they tend to only come out at night.

    I was going to post a response agreeing with you, but the more I think on it, well....

    Marketing subsidizes my entertainment choices, considering how much Geico spends on advertising I think basic cable would collapse if Geico stopped advertising.

    Marketing also helps the company I'm at. Our marketing consists of our catalog and website with our products and pricing. Without that how would our customers know what to buy from us? Some level of marketing is necessary.

    Also, the marketing department where I work is full of some real cool people who do indeed like people.

    There is no "this is just plain wrong" option for a reason, because you need to post and explain why it is wrong. If you can't reply and state why it is wrong, then don't mod it.

    That is one way it was promoted at first. Buy one for yourself and one gets donated.

    It didn't do too well, would be best for them to just plain sell them on the open market at a decent price point.
