    The one that makes sense is that there are options out there.

    There is competition, and some of that competition has the connectors he needs. That means that basically Boxee has excluded everyone without HDMI from their customer base, while Boxee's competitors have not.

    Which do you think is the better option? To limit yourself to a single output method and limit your customer base, or give options and open up your customer base?

    It's not like TV's only have one input type.

    And get this

    The Apple logo is used for Apple.

    Considering this, shouldn't the Microsoft logo be used for Microsoft stories?

    That was actually touched on a couple times in the article.

    It mentions that Iran does have to get their components via the black market and that previously these purchases got routed via the EAU to Iran.

    It is a metallic glass, not a silicon glass like drinking glasses.

    Look for cookware that has a titanium ceramic coating. It's no stick and won't contaminate your food with metal flavor.

    Perhaps I didn't read close enough, but I didn't see anyone complying.

    The FBI and NSA can ask for the moon, doesn't mean they are going to get it.

    From reading your link perhaps you should have a case of Indiaphobia or United Arab Eremitesphobia.

    There are other countries in this world with the pull to have back doors included, its not a u.s.a. specific issue.

    I gotta say probably not, that is if we are alone in the universe.

    If we are not alone in the universe then the survival of the human race may be important for others, and well of course ourselves, but if we are alone and get wiped out then our opinion no longer matters because we no longer matter.

    And don't forget that often times it is people such as myself modding the conversation. I try my best to moderate well, but on a subject like this I am outside of my knowledge base. I think that is a reason that so few comments on this story are modded much at all, besides the quality of some of the posts are just saying wtf without bothering to reading the article.

    Slashdot does seem a bit desperate for moderation, I'm getting 30 mod points on some weeks, 15 at a time.

    I'd agree with you if I hadn't been using their service for around 5 years for free, and had all my friends and relatives who needed a good home AV also use it for free.

    They do have a paid version, but the free version is just fine. All they ask for is a little information you input yourself so its not like you even need to tell the truth except for a valid email address.
