    After googling a bit it may just be outdated information, looks like the website has changed hands a few times. Currently owned by eMediaTrack, you can also find information about the jpc on their website.

    Exactly what kind of support do you expect to get when you are running Windows XP in a browser window. Do you really expect MS to provide you support for such a non-standard instillation?

    I know I'm just ignorant on the subject but at times it seems that smashing particles together to find new particles makes as much sense as smashing chairs together to find out new chairs.

    Oh look a new type of splinter, how do we figure this one into the model?

    My god, we found the elusive peg particle that holds the back to the seat! This has been theorized to exist for centuries and now we have proof!

    If I came to your home and just decided I wanted your car, would you not call the cops?

    Is that the best argument you could come up with?

    This would be more along the lines of.

    If I came to your home and took a picture of the painting you have on your wall would you give a shit?

    It's not theft, it's replication. Unauthorized replication is a crime, but it is not theft.

    The steal the car argument has been made plenty of times and it gets shot down each and every time because it is not accurate.

    The best argument wouldn't be an analogy, just state what is going on.

    Company A developed a technology, they developed it and patented it to give them an edge over Company B. If Company B uses that technology by law they have to compensate Company A or quit using the technology.

    From what I gathered from the topic this would be the perfect solution for your neighbor to listen to his music full blast while the sound only takes place within a small area and wouldn't be able to be heard outside of that small area.

    Hell, if you were attempting to use this against your neighbor it would just make his music louder, probably making him happier.

    Also no matter what you do, you will have a self replicating and updating profile. You will have posts in all areas automatically, slashdot, twitter, facebook, all of it. They will also be belivable that you did it, your google+ profile will take on a life of it's own and compete for friends./quote>

    Now those are some features that would get me to actually sign up for a social network.

    Does Google insure their services?

    Cause if someone goes into a bank, and robs the bank, I know I'll still have my money.

    Now if Google does have a security breach, that is it, all your information is out there and all Google will do about is close the barn door after the cows are gone.

    Same with Dropbox or any other online service, a data breach is almost guaranteed if the timeline is stretched out far enough. For someone in the medical field such as the GP that would be disastrous.

    Doubtful. NASA survives on a shoestring budget.

    And as to why we were able to get to the moon, but can't now, remember that in the 60's in the middle of Vietnam, NASA had more funding than the DoD. Now NASA's budget is less than the cost of air conditioning for the DoD. And people still bitch and moan about how much NASA is spending.
