    Yep, and of course that ad window goes away completely when you buy it. Avira is one of the less verbose suites out there; I'm not sure what the GP is talking about. He might have it confused with AVG...now that is a pop up happy Antivirus.

    You should have approached them. When women are interested in you that makes it that much easier for you to approach them.

    If what you're saying is true, I don't think you realize the opportunity you passed up.

    So men having to do most of the approaching work is a bullshit rule, so what? Work with what you have. You can't be superhuman and change everyone's mind about this...at least not within a lifetime.

    I think AMD will be kept afloat by ATi. That said, I agree that this is less of a financial opportunity for them than it seems due to the reasons you pointed out.

    Several problems with this:

    1) I didn't know the Democratic party was left-wing.
    2) Things staying the same is not a good choice.
    3) For an example of abused checks and balances, look at the 90s up to about 2006.

    It was mentioned before that if American troops were forced to fire on Americans, morale would go down pretty quickly. If the resistance movement was large enough I don't think troops would feel right about killing that many Americans.

    Then again, I could be wrong.

    The thing is, it's impossible to say. The fed manipulated the interest rates to be too low anyway, which was one of the things that started this mess. It was artificial, bad thing, regardless of other market regulation.

    I could see a totally free market degenerating into anarchy but the basis of the argument is sound.

    Also, what makes Ron Paul such a crackpot? You still haven't answered the question.

    and have to move massive amounts of files around. That's where even 100mbit LANs start looking slow. Gigabit, especially if wireless, is a huge advantage.

    That said, it'll probably get less speed on average than gigabit cabled ethernet.

    You can use "Offline Mode." That worked for me when I didn't have an internet connection.

    Or taking the kind of work that's easy on the teacher and meaningless BS to the student.

    It has been shown over and over again that learning processes is more important than memorizing specific things.

    Education has been wrongheaded for a while, but this is not one of the reasons.

    Memorize specific things that can be looked up in 5 seconds on wikipedia, and not processes, and you get people who don't value education because it never really did anything for them.

    Learning the skill known as critical thinking is way more important than some philistine adherence to old ways.
