Next Generation Geothermal Enhanced Geothermal Systems can produce energy from previously unusable sites. Unlike conventional geothermal, which relies on locating subterranean reservoirs of heated water, this technology uses hot, dry basement rock to heat water in artificially created reservoirs. Most water pumped out is returned in this closed-loop system.
It always comes back to Congress. I think they are NASA's real problem. We should put Congress-people that aren't from NASA center/JPL/etc. states but nonetheless are enthusiastic about science, tech, space, and aero into the committees that decide their budget. Do those even exist?
I remember hearing about this flywheel installation for stored energy. I'm not sure how much those cost or store but could make more sense than pumped water reservoirs in Hawaii.
It's every 1 year... unless you include map packs. I completely agree though. They are really milking it. I go to lan parties with a bunch of people in my wife's family a few times a year. They are a lot of fun but now I have to buy whatever game they have (and 2 copies).
Well maybe this is not a common thing but this game Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 was $60 when it came out last November and it is still $60 on Steam after the brief 25% off sale ended. http://store.steampowered.com/app/115300/
And on top of that, they'll be coming out with a new Call of Duty in November probably like they do every year and a lot of the online players will migrate to that which reduces value of the game a bit for me. The game from 2010 is going for $40 now. http://store.steampowered.com/app/42700/
Now I found it somewhere cheaper luckily (just bought it) but it wasn't easy to find. To address your comment, I'm not looking to resell (though would be nice). I'm thinking of my perspective where I'd like to buy a game cheaper after it's been out for a while or secondhand if possible. I imagine there are people that would sell it to be on the other end of this. I have some older games I'd sell for $5 or something. Things definitely don't work that way though.
25% off $60 Call of Duty Modern Warfare X still is not cheap. They should go for at least half off for a used version, but it does depend on supply and demand in the used market.
So, contrary to many TV shows, simply asking someone out or complementing them on [whatever] is not harassment, until you've been asked not to.
I agree with you but the sexual harassment training I was at for a large company that I no longer work for pretty much said that simply asking someone out can be considered sexual harassment. I remember because I actually asked about that after hearing it and they confirmed it. Maybe they were being pretty conservative on it but that's what they said in the training.
It's basically if someone thought it was harassment, it was.
I just realized I've had zero blue screens with Windows 7 and I've been using it hard since the free RC2 or whatever it was (2 home computers, and a work computer I built). I am pleasantly surprised. Usually I have a little adjusting to do for something like that but with 7 everything was better and I knew it right away so I got over the change pretty fast and enjoyed it.
I'd probably be using Linux though if it weren't for gaming at home and a few things at work.
Yeah I was wondering about that. The 120Hz stuff seems really strange like it moves really smoothly. That's good you'd think but it's still strange as heck.
Here is a graphic with Europa. Europa has more water than Earth ("volume 2-3 times the volume of water in Earth's oceans"). http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap120524.html
My two most recent auto insurance claims were a deer hitting me (I obviously had the right of way on the interstate) which was over $2500 and it just got hailed on by tennis ball sized hail and totalled the car. While it sucked, it would have sucked more without insurance.
Were you thinking of the 5870 Eyefinity Edition which actually has 6 DisplayPort outputs? I believe the 6000 series and up have the newer DisplayPort for daisychaining.
Here they say 6 monitors are good with 2 DisplayPorts if you have daisychaining monitors. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/309846-33-eyefinity-monitors "DP 1.2 monitors have 2+ ports, with which you can connect up to 3 monitors in serial. Two ports on the card, so 6 monitors that way. You can do this only with native DisplayPort 1.2 supportive monitors. No DP-DVI dongles work. "
From one of the images in the article:
Hey it's not all bad.
"The DOE has granted over US$20 million to the project"
I wonder why they have to go through both the BLM and the FS.

I agree. I guess I'd need one of those small solar panels for the stereo to play my Jimmy Buffett CDs. That's about it.

I don't usually admin Windows, but when I do I use DosEquisShell.

Orly?
Well I read yours in order since I usually skip the subject :)
yup

Your smiley face question mark just blew my mind.
Universities often still use steam
Lol i saw the video. That's pretty bad but they later said the guy was off his meds at the time. I forgot what he had.
Yeah! Go the Battlestar Galactica route and un-network all of this stuff!
I think if your monitors had the passthrough ports then all you would need would be 2 DisplayPorts on the video card.
I did the How To at http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/amd-eyefinity-technology/Pages/eyefinity.aspx
and it recommends a 6850 or 6950 (I have) for a 4 monitor setup.
Were you thinking of the 5870 Eyefinity Edition which actually has 6 DisplayPort outputs? I believe the 6000 series and up have the newer DisplayPort for daisychaining.
This guy used a 6950 with 4 odd monitors - http://www.uberreview.com/2012/03/amd-6950-eyefinity-review-and-how-to.htm
But he used all the ports instead of daisychaining DisplayPort only.
