1) I said they were the best in the market, not as good as it will ever be. 2) I do not work for either 3) How is Epic Rigid or Linear? I find it is neither. Both system s are only as good as the people who are employed o implement them.
If the reimbursement system emphasizes maximizes the coding rather than the quality of the outcome versus the cost to get that outcome then the software has little responsibility other than providing efficiency.
The only billable services from Epic (the EMR that my employer uses) are the software support contract (maintenance patches/upgrades/technical support), any custom build you request (but the system is so flexible it is rarely needed) and training. Those seem pretty standard for any niche system. Epic is a lot more like IBM or Microsoft from a vendor standpoint than they are like GE.
Epic and Cerner are the best in the market from an over all EMR standpoint (there are specialty functions they will not due such as Hemodynamics etc). These systems give the IT staff a lot of control and power to implement functions that the staff ask for rather than simply asking the vendor for a feature and waiting for them to build it.
considering Poweshell was a separate beast until 8.1 comes out I think MS has given ample (7 years) time for sys admins to update their libraries of code for powershell.
Nintendo, please follow your comrade Sega and sell games for other platforms while dumping yours. When I can get Zelda and Mario games through STEAM, I will be a happy man.
and you think they will and if they do you think it will be soooo much more potent that it will cause people to go "oh shit, I should have gotten one of those!" ?
People buy consoles for the games they want to play...if it will not be on the PS4 or the cool stuff won't be available on the PS4 first then they are buying an XB1.
you really think devs will make games that will take full advantage of the PS4? They will program to take advantage of the XB1 and then port to the PS4 framework and be done with it. Same architecture means less work.
If they are limited to only holding the data collected so it can be used in criminal investigations then I am fine with it. It is no different than finger printing....If they are not limited to how it is used and by whom, then we should be concerned.
They almost have a universal flu vaccine that will last as long as an MMR. I expect the Flu vaccine by the end of this decade to be something you get when you are three and then you're done until booster time.
That is where things like building codes help out because most states require new construction to have licensed trades doing the plumbing and electrical.
and degree in the medical field (even the cheaper ones) can lead the more technically minded to work in healthcare IT....That does not mean medical field persons can't get in (I am one that fits that) but there is a lot of desire for people who know how to work in the environment and who can work in IT.

The VA will be moving to a commercial product I think soon.

We laughed when they announced the Liberal Arts graduates.
More tablet interfaces on the PC
Not Really
more attempts to lock on the tablet as TV
That is where TV in general is going
more stupidity around attempting to turn a Gaming Console into a Media Center
Not Stupid
that replaces the tablet, the PC and everything else
Not happening.
because the legacy dos prompt was way better....NOT.
Beer was invented during the Neolithic period in Egypt and Iraq.
repackage it for the American consumer with a phonetically odd way of pronouncing the product name.
and when it decomposes releases Hydrogen Sulfide gas which is very toxic to humans and animals.
great... just a few more tens of thousands of square miles to saturate before the growth starts to level out.

umm... you mean like Steam?
Why would they remove the kinect? They want to make sure devs know it is a universal resource so they program for it.

Can you show any evidence that those things existed before humans perceived them?
