How is an idea any more supernatural than your perception of the universe? Both are caused by chemical interactions in your brain. narrowly defining supernatural the way you do means nothing is natural.

The problem with Pharma is they need to find a chemical that is effective against the pathogen/disease they are targeting and then make sure it is also efficiently absorbed by the body into the location that the disease/pathogen is so the dose they would need to give to a human are not toxic. The requirements for something like these PV compounds are far lower.

Yes, it is all about world view. Fox's straight news reports as if all conservative world views are correct so you get off teh cuff assumptions that make my head explode....they also seem to cover useless crap more than MSNBC like "car chase in L.A." or "Missing White Girl in AZ". And Fox's morning show is ridiculous. MSNBC's "Morning Joe" is the only show that has decent issues covered.

I don't think you understand the implications of what you propose which goes toward my first sentence....it was the stupidest thing I had ever heard.

If you award EC votes based on congressional districts then the party in power the year the census is done gets to impact how EC votes are distributed in the next presidential race because they will do what they have always done which is gerrymander the crap out of the districts to benefit one party over another. No fabrications....you do not need to actually say something will happen for it to actually be a consequence of your ideas.

Smart people who get into our universities are highly motivated to be successful... we should attach a green card to the back of every masters degree and Ph.d we issue to a foreign student on the condition they seek employment/start a business here in the US. More startups means more jobs means a faster growing economy.

a rising tide lifts all boats when you are talking about a poor economy..the US economy does not benefit from economic growth in developing countries but developing countries benefit from growth in our economy.
