    In the real world, no amount of tips and tricks is going to make up for a bad schedule. We end up doing code reviews while are software is in verification and validation. Is that smart? No. But when you need to get features done, that takes priority. As for documentation, that always falls to the wayside as well. The truth of the matter is this. The only way to make schedule is to totally inflate your time estimates on the project. We developed a rule of taking the engineers estimates and double them. Of course we're still running a little late ;)

    This shows that eBay fears Google's new service. Ebay is starting to show its age and lack of innovation. It needs competition from the likes of Google and anyone else that can challenge them. I stopped using eBay due to the high fees. Good luck Google and I hope you bring a good fight!

    AMD produces a better/cheaper product. Why bother using Intel right now anyways? Intel has held the lead for so long because of marketing, not performance/quality. I'm glad to see Intel having their feet put to the fire... maybe they'll focus on quality and not marketing.

    You can also find solutions that will hold several more drives. This could be usefull for small form factor setups that people (myself included) use for pvrs. Small, reliable, cool running.

    Then there are probably few survivors at Microsoft. Ozzie has his work cut out. You can brag about Lotus Notes all you want, but that was developed from scratch when you can make the proper design decisions. But with Windows being bloated and out of control, you just can't clean it up and make it more simple... can you? It seems like there putting to much faith in Ozzie... like a silver bullet. Gonna be tough to undo years and years of neglect.
